" Kendra it is 2pm in the damn afternoon " my dad yelled as he barged into my room. " why in the hell are you still in bed"? I rolled over as he tried to pull the covers from over my head. " it's still summer I'm trying to get in all the sleep that I've been missing out on " I cried.
" Well it's too late for that now school starts next week, get up and go make something of the day " he said as he walked towards my room door to leave. I sighed as I rolled my big ass out the bed.

I'm 5"6" , brown skin, natural curly hair that passes my bra but I wear weave every once and awhile. Im 17 and I will be starting my senior year next week. ITS BOUT TO BE LIT !! I walked over to my bed and checked my phone I got a text from Bri telling me that she will be there in 30 mins. Now I have to rush to get ready. I can't even be mad I should've been up already. I walked in the bathroom so that I could take a 15min shower. I used my bath and body works body wash. I swear I love their products all my money go to that store. I hoped out of the shower and got dressed,I really don't even have time to do anything with my hair so I just put it up in a messy bun. I grabbed my cross body bag, wallet, phone and charger y'all know how iPhones be. I walked out of my room to head into the living room to see my dad watching tv.
