What Even Happened ?

The next day Byron really wasn't feeling it .
He woke up late for school , then got yelled at by his dad for waking up late , then yelled at by his mom because now she has to drop off his little brother at his preschool because Byron didn't have time to.
Next his car wouldn't start so he had to walk to school which was about thirty minutes away from his house by car . Luckily though it was nice fall weather, that'd probably be the only highlight of his day he thought.
When he got to school he was late , so walking through the hallways it was basically vacent. Or atleast he thought so , that was until he saw Jacob Reece making out with some black haired girl near the boys bathroom.  Byron was conflicted between confronting him because he thought Jacob and Arielle were together . Or just letting it go.
Byron stood there for about two minutes and then decided that he should confront Jacob about it.
He walked up behind him and tapped him on the shoulder
"Heeyy Jacob , uh I uh , have a question" Byron spoke hastily.
At first Jacob nor the girl acknowledged him. Byron thinking that Jacob just didn't hear him , he started tapping on his shoulder repeatedly. 
"Oh my god" Jacob exclamied loudly obviously annoyed as he turns towards Byron .
Byron smiled and looked over at the girl who was now distracted by her own clevage and was trying very hard to push them up even more than they already were.
"Whatcha need nerd kid?" Jacob asked looking at his fingernails.
"Ah yes I was just wondering , aren't you and Arielle Martinez like together?" Byron asked back

Jacob scoffed "yeah I guess, what's it to ya"

"Well I mean , you were kinda making out with another girl. Like not even three minutes ago"
He said back to the dumb boy

"Look kid , i don't give a damn about Arielle and she doesn't give a damn about me . We're going to homecoming because it's what to be expected . Now how about you scram and let me get back to my girl. Or I'll make you scram, how bout that?" Jacob grunted out to him.

Bryon gulped "I uh.. i yeah okay bye."

With the new news about Arielle Byron realized he might still have a chance with her . And with that thought in his head he ran off to class with a smile on his face.
