Chapter 22- "I'm gonna miss you"

                                Lilly's POV

What happened last night?
I only remember talking to Alexa and taking a beer from Ross. Then it's all black.
All I know is that I have a headache.
"Babe what happened last night?" I asked.
"I figured you wouldn't remember. You drank a lot Lils," Ross replied yawning.
"Ooo, sorry you had to experience hammered Lils. So by the fact you remember, I assume you didn't drink much?" I asked.
"Correct. I had a few beers but not enough to make me drunk. You on the other hand were a different story," he said.
"What did I do?" I asked laughing.
"Well at about 3 in the morning you still wanted to party even when everyone went to sleep. Um, when I took you upstairs you went to see Jake and wouldn't let go of him. And also you wanted to have sex but I said no cuz you were hammered and then you started sobbing but then you were happy. You really are something when hammered Lils," Ross said laughing.
"I just can't wait to see you hammered," I replied laughing.
"So what's on the plan today love?" He asked.
"I am planning to hang out with Jake because today is Thursday. He leaves tomorrow Ross," I said choking on my words.
"I'm sorry he can't stay love," he said holding me.
"Me too. I need to go see him. I'll meet up with you later," I whispered.
Ross kissed my forehead gently and helped me stand up.
"Take it easy. I'll see you later," he whispered letting go of my hand.
I walked into my room and laid down next to Jake who was still asleep.
I then silently cried next to him.
All of a sudden he turned and hugged me.
"I know babe. I know," he said as I felt the tears from his face coming down.
"I don't know if I can make it without you for two more months," I said.
"You'll get through it. I know you will. You have Ross to get you through. Just all I ask is please don't get heartbroken. Not when I can't be here to pick you up and beat the shit out of whom ever broke your heart," he said squeezing me tighter.
I laughed a small laugh.
"There's the laugh I was going for," he said smiling.
"What are we gonna do on our last day?" I asked.
"My favorite thing! Absolutely nothing at all," he said.
"Jake. Come on! It's California. There's nothing you wanna do?" I asked.
"Nope!" He said popping the "p".
"You're a lazy piece of shit you know that?" I said jokingly.
"Yep. And you are an athletic whore," he said.
I laughed.
"Good one," I said.
"Seriously Lilly, I just wanna stay here all day," he said.
"Fine we'll do what you want," I said, "So what movie?" I asked.
"I don't care. I just need something uplifting. Funny for that matter," he said.
"Grown-ups it is," I said standing up to put in the movie.
I slid in the movie and sat down next to Jake. Laying my head on his shoulder.

Ross's POV

I walked downstairs into the kitchen.
Only Courtney was down there.
Everyone else must still be sleeping somewhere else.
"Morning Court," I mumbled going to the fridge.
"Morning Ross," she mumbled back.
I grabbed the milk from the fridge and the cereal from the cabinet. Then I grabbed a bowl and sat at the counter.
"By the way, next time you try to fuck with someone else, I suggest you make sure you're not with another girl. Especially someone like Lilly. I can't believe you would do that to her. And to think, I allowed it to happen. Don't do It again Ross. Ever. Got it?" She said sternly.
"Got it," I said starting to eat my cereal.
"Where is that sweet girl anyway?" She asked.
"With Jake. It's his last day here," I said.
"Awe how sad. He's hot. Too bad," she said.
"What about that other guy that you were seeing?" I asked.
"Josh? Eh..we kinda gave up on that. Let's just say he's not the greatest..." she started.
"Well no one is as good as me," I said smirking.
"No not like that!" She said slapping my arm, "He's not the greatest person. He's a dick. Oh and yeah, he's horrible in bed," she said.
We both laughed.
"You know I've missed talking to you Court?" I said.
"I've missed talking to you too Ross," she said.
"However this changes nothing. You broke up with me and I'm beyond happier with Lilly," I said.
"Honestly, we didn't work as a couple. I'd rather be friends," she said.
"Agreed," I said.

It was around 2 when Lilly finally came downstairs.
"BABE!" I yelled running up to her and picking her up.
"Yes Ross?" She asked.
"I'm so boredddddddddd," I said.
"So you needed to pick me up?" She asked.
"Yes indeed I did. Because you are my love and my angel and I love you with all my heart," I said kissing her forehead.
She smiled.
"God your smile kills me," I said stroking her cheek.
She smiled and blushed.
"Where's Jake?" I asked.
"Fell asleep. Not a huge surprise though. Can't watch any movie without him falling asleep. No matter the time of day, once a movie is playing, BAM! Asleep," she said.
"That means I get you all to myself," I said wrapping my arms around her waist.
"As you do," she said, "But babe, I'm starving so let's go get food," she said.
"Okay what do you want?" I asked grabbing my keys.
"Babe. We don't need to go anywhere. You have food here," she said.
"That wasn't my question," I said.
"Ross it's-"
"Lillian Rose," I said folding my arms. 
"Ugh fine. I feel like in and out burger. But I don't want you to go through the trouble. It's fine," she said.
"Hush my love. I will be back in 5 minutes with a cheeseburger, fries and a chocolate shake. Love youu!" I said as I walked out the door.
