The Note Left Behind

[Right now this takes place the day Dipper disappeared]

Mabel
"Dipper? Dipper! Dipper where are you?!" Mabel yelled while standing in the middle of the street.

No one has seen my twin brother since this morning. I don't know where he could've gone and I'm scared. He usually tells me everything.. how could he just suddenly leave me?

Know that I mention it he has been isolating himself from others more often then usual. Could this have something to do with his disappearance?

After walking to the end of the road I turned around and walked home.

"Hopefully he comes back soon.. I already miss him." I whispered to myself.

When I got home dinner was ready but it felted unusual with only three people at the table. I ate anyway and then headed upstairs.

I entered Dippers room for no particular reason I just did.

What if he just skipped school? Out doing something with friends? What am I talking about dipper doesn't have friends. Or does he?

I sit in his bed and realize how comfortable it is. It's even more comfortable then mine.

I look around more till my eyes land on his desk. It was cleared off with is strange since he always has books and scattered papers all over the place. Now that I think about it his room is clean..

I walk over to the desk to see one lonely paper there folded in half..
I opened it up to see a note most likely left from Dipper.

"Gosh darn it Dipper! I know what your doing and you know I haven't been good with this kind of stuff!" I yelled to myself mostly because I knew this was going to take a while.

Don't forget the dollar Bill.

It's obviously a note to me but he's making it seem like a reminder. Either way I'm not gonna tell my parents but why is the dollar bill so important?

I searched around his room for this so called dollar bill to leave the room with only the note in hand.

"This has got to be a clue to where he has gone" I whispered as I squeeze the paper in my right hand.

After saying good night to my parents I walked to my room and sat at desk with my phone.

It's a Friday night so staying up late should be fine.. right?

I looked up the dollar bill on multiple sources but couldn't find a thing that would relate to his dollar bill.

After a couple more hours I finally grew tired and wobbled to my bed. Not bothering to turn my lamp out I fell right asleep.

Morning

The next day I went to the library to try to find some old stuff about dollar bills. And as expected nothing.

"Ahh! Why does he have to be a dollar bill?! Why can't it be a kitten or something!" I yelled earning a shush from various places and a lot of weird looks. I apologized and left the building, again empty handed.

Who could help me out with this? There is no one Dipper shared this stuff with expecially since all the journals where no longer around.

I smiled as I recalled how Dipper always used to go crazy over the journals and Gravity Falls in general. God I miss him..

I reread the note he left multiple times but find nothing. I turn the paper over so many times I'm starting to get dizzy.

Sighing in defeat I walked home and made myself lunch.

"Mabel?"

"Yes dad?"

"We filed a police report. He's officially missing so the cops are gonna help us out." My father said from the other room.

"That's good.." I mumbled and continued with making my food.

Hopefully they can help. But I still don't trust anyone else with the note he left me. That's my way of helping find him. After all, I am the one who misses him most.

Months have pasted and the only thing I realized was the B in bill was capitalized! But why was it so important that Bill was capitalized?
More importantly the police officials has called off the missing person report due to no leads or anything. Besides these 5 words Dipper has covered his tracks completely. Did he not want anyone to know where he was on purpose? Of course he did leave without telling anyone but I'm still wondering why?!

I need to take a break, but I'm definitely not giving up. This is just hard to do alone! If I was back in Gravity Falls I'd be fine.. Wendy was there so was Soos and Grenda, Candy! They've helped me and Dipper with multiple things! If only I could talk to them an-

Wait! I could call them! Why didn't I think of this before? Stupid Mabel!

I pick up my phone and dial Wendy's number, after only three rings she picks up.

"Hello?" I heard her voice through the phone.

"Hi Wendy it's Mabel!" I Said excitedly.

"Oh hey dude what's up? Haven't heard from you or Dipper in a while." There was a pause then she asked.
"Dude, what happened?"

"Dippers missing!" I blurted out.

"What? Mabel stop joking around you know Dipper wouldn't get himself lost."

"Well I don't think he's missing I think he left. He's been gone for months-" I heard Wendy spit something out from the other end.

"Months?! Mabel you should've called us sooner!" She yelled.

"I know! And I font know why I didn't! But all that Dipper left behind was a note that makes no sence." I said with annoyance towards Dipper.

"Well what does it say?"

"Ok, if I tell you.. you have to promise you won't tell anyone but Soos and gruncle Stan and Ford if they are there." I said a bit slowly.

"You got it, my lips are sealed."

"He wrote
Don't forget the dollar Bill.
The only thing I've been able to figure out is the B in Bill is capitalized." I sat on my bed as I finished up my sentence. I'm tired and haven't been getting a lot of sleep lately.

"Don't forget the dollar Bill. Huh.. well the Bill has got to mean something. I mean why else would Dipper capitalize the word? We both know he hates random capitalization." Wendy said and I heard her write something down on the other end.

I glanced up at the clock and relied how late it was.
"Sorry Wendy I got to go! I didn't know it was this late!" I scrabbled to the bathroom to brush my teeth.

"that's alright I'll call you tomorrow, night" she ended the phone call with that.

Sorry Dipper.. I need the help..

Dipper

"Do you miss them?" A voice behind me asks.

"Of course I do.. but I'm glad I'm here with you." Warm hands hug me from behind and I nuzzle into the warmth.

But I'm glad I'm with you.. finally..

[Lol we obviously know who Dipper left his family for. Anyway sorry the chapter was all in Mabel's pov there was just no other person to switch to. I wanted this chapter to progress over time but it didn't exactly turn out that way, anyway that's the end of the first chapter!]
