Adam was the first to answer, "They're just upset that were not sticking to an actual remake this time. But that's show biz, right? Doing something different!" He sent Jack a beaming smile, the likes of which would make anyone smile back, but not now. Now it seemed a bit off putting.

"But all the lead roles are kidnapped! He's our friend! It was inhumane when it was girls we didn't even know, but I won't just stand by and let you put my friend in danger!" Danny spoke, hand slamming down on the table as he stood.

"He'll be fine, those girls chose to run off!" Adam defended, his usually friendly demeanor gone as his anger became more evident.

They fought back and forth, Jack trying to get a word in as they acted like he was a mere child, incapable of making his own decisions.

It went on for a few minutes before he'd decided he'd had enough. He slammed his hands on the table as he stood, chair falling back with a loud bang as he interrupted the two.
"That's enough! Danny, I know you're just trying to look out for me an' all, but I'm capable of handling myself. Adam, I better be gettin paid like a damn king if what they're sayin is true."

His face was a bit red, the anger coursing through him caused the accent to thicken and everyone seemed to be surprised by the Irishmans outburst.

Adam just nodded vigorously, "Of course! Absolutely, anything you want Jack. You are the star after all." He'd regained the welcoming demeanor he'd had previously scarily fast.
Danny however, had his jaw set as he stormed off. Presumably to his quarters to blow off some steam.

Now all that was left to do was wait. And hope what happened to the actresses didn't happen to him.
