Shane's POV
As I went to grab some pasta for me and Ryland when there was a knock on the door
"I'll get it"I said running to the door and opening it
There stood a tall man with black hair in a police officer uniform
"Hello are you ryland?"he asked his voice not hostile but efficient
"No but I can go get him"I said opening the door all the way allowing him to enter
"Ryland come here please"I said into the living room
"Yeah?"he said walking out
"Hello Ryland,i'm officer Hanson here to talk about the incident regarding you and samantha Adams earlier"the officer stated
"Oh yeah well I can tell you everything"Ryland said then they talked while I made Ryland and I dinner
Rylands POV
"Okay we'll take care of all of this sir"officer Hanson said as I nodded then he left
"Baby dinners ready"Shane said quietly
"Okay"I said softly
I walked into our living room to see Shane there eating pasta and watching F.R.I.E.N.D.S,that's his favorite show of all time and we watched it on our first date so it was kinda our thing
"Thanks"I said smiling as I cuddled into his side while my plate was on the table infront of me
"Are you okay?"he asked
I nodded as my eyes started stinging with tears
"Okay"he said wrapping his arm around ne and kissing my forehead
I blinked back my current tears and focused on how happy I was with him
I grabbed my plate from infront of me and started eating my food
Hearing an occasional laugh or two from Shane as I cuddled beside him really was the best way to end a night and I'm so lucky I get to end every night like this
