I guess I was bound to be alone, and then I met you. I've been always left aside, forgotten, outgrown.
I didn't expect you to walk into my life, and I didn't want attachments. I avoided you, as much as I can.
I felt like you were trouble, another soon to be mistake of mine.
But we found in each other the friend we've been longing for.
I thought, maybe you'll stay. Maybe you won't. Maybe I can wait.
Until the day we have to bid each other goodbye.
And I realized,
Our paths were meant to cross once and never again.
