I couldn't sleep because of all the pictures staring back at me. I can't believe after all these years of pretending to hate me actually....cares?? Strange.. I was staring up at the cealing when Riley walked in.
"Riley what are you doing here? Its like 3 in the morning!"
"Oh, I may have put you in the wrong room....You weren't supposed to see this."
"Ok so wheres my room?"
"Destroyed by chipmunks." She mumbled but just loud enough for me to hear."So your going to sleep in here. OK Love Ya see you in the morning." She slamed the door before I had a chance to respond. Wait did she just say she loves me!?!? And then she opened the door. "Yes I did just say I love you." and then the door slamed, AGAIN!!That girl has no manners and how'd she know I said that?? Twin powers probably.

That morning I woke up with clothes right next to the bed. It was just a simple purple tank top with balck skinny jeans and some converse. I quickly put on the outfit and headed down the long hall way and down the stairs. To my surprise there was food on the table along with some juice.
"I didn't know you cooked?"
"Yeah well, after everything that happened I took a cooking class and found myself enjoying it. I hope to open up a restraunt soon." Riley said while I shoved a spoonful of eggs in my mouth and the strangest thing happened it was like since there soo soft they melted into my mouth.
"Riley these are the best eggs in the world!!"
"I know."Thats Riley for you so full of herself. Soon I was putting my plate into the sink and sitting back down at the table.
"So hows grandma?"
" Well, whats the right word oh yeah PISSED!! Last time I saw her she destroyed her whole room and then quickly cleaned it to cover it up."
" Sounds...FUN!"
"Lyra this is serious shes freaking out and I don't know what will calm her down."
"Well I think i'll take a trip up to see her."
"ARE YOU INSANE." Riley said while tiping over a empty glass."She's going to rip your head off and eat it Lyra do you understand what i'm saying?" She said like shes talking to a child."
"Yes, Yes I am and I'm going to head up there at noon. Are you in?" I asked with pleading eyes.
"Ok fine." Puppy dog eyes always work on her!
"Yayy road trip!! It's like when we were younger except..yeah"
"Ok but noon and bring clothes."
"Nah I was gonna where my under wear and bra there!" I said sarcasticly.
"Ok get ready."I heard her yell as I ran up stairs.

Soon enough we were in the car diriving listening to some music and singing our heads off.
"Gosh Riles I haven't had this much fun since well forever."
"I know me to. I missed you."
"I missed you too."
"Hey look were here!!" Riley shouted.
"Ok breath in breath out."
"Is the big bad lyra scared!" She said in a baby tone mocking me.
"No not at all lets go." I said getting out of the car. I have too much pride to let anyone know I'm nervous as hell! We walked up her old steps slowly until Riley pushed me. I glared at her. I rung the door bell and waited until she opened the door.
"Hi grandma." I said and with that she slammed the door in my face and I instantly broke down crying with Riley trying to comfort me.
