This book is based off of the song called "Skin (Sarabeth)" by Rascal Flatts. Enjoy, it might also shed a few tears(:

Prologue
A woman sits with her children at a resturaunt, one is misbehaving. You think to your self, "Wow, how rude, that lady needs to teach her kid to behave." The woman is struggling to keep her child sane but all he wants to do is scream on the top of his lungs. Rolling her eyes, the woman gets up and takes her child veracously by the hand and drags him to the bathroom cursing under her breath. You notice she looks around before closing the door and locking it. Then you hear the hand dryer turn on and little cries from her son.
You wonder what's going on in there but are too afraid to go knock on the door, your date looks at your worried face and fallows your gaze to the small bathroom door. He askes you what's going on in there as the woman comes out with her trembling son. His face is bright red and his eyes are blood-shot as if something terrible was thrown in his eyes. Her two other children sit quietly thinking about what had just happened. Then the woman looks over at you and glares, quickly, you turn away and start talking to your date.
That happened to me a week ago, sitting at the most amazing resturaunt around, Wendy's. I was there with a guy who only wanted one date which was fine by me, I didn't like him anyway. That lady was someone in my neighborhood, I think her name was Asher but I am not sure. All I know is that she is a young mom with anger issues, if you want kids, make sure your not an angry person.
Well, just last week she was sent to jail because one of her kids showed up to school one day with Cigar burns all up her arms. She told her teacher that her mother wasn't happy during the day while she drank, that little girl is five years old. The teacher grew scared, of course, so she went and talked to the principle about what she saw, two hours later there were cops in my neighborhood pounding on her door. When she didn't answer, they knocked it over and saw that she was punishing the same boy that I saw a week before. Being caught red handed, she was sent to jail in a heartbeat, the cop that tackled her was my father. Imagine living next to the cop that sent you to jail, must be tough for her.
Speaking of my father, he is a really strange man. Sometimes I catch him on Saturday mornings before I go to swim practice dancing to the radio while cooking eggs, while in his underware, white button up shirt and sport socks. Also, when ever he takes someone to jail, he makes the boring ones sound.. alright, like the one that happened two month's ago, some chick at my school was texting while driving, this is how he said it happened.
"Well kids, I took another goon to jail today," He starts off, us kids groan and tell him not to tell us but he does anyway. "Well, there was this mean looking old lady, she came up to me with her mean old hag of a face. She swears at me and I get caught off gaurd but I try to calm her down, then here comes the good part, she gets in her car right?" We roll our eyes. "Well, she grabs this big thing and points it at me, I realize that it's a Machine Gun right? So say to the lady, 'Hey, where did you get that?' and she looks at me and smiles in her evil little witch way and says to me, 'I have been waiting for you! You're the chosen one!' Of course I am all like 'What?' and then I just cuffed her, right then and there, yeah, that's what happened." We stare at him with blank looks. "Guys calm down! I was only joking! Some teen girl that Gracie might know was just texting while driving."
Of course this isn't the point of this story, and this mostly has nothing to do with it. I mean, I love my dad don't get me wrong but what I am really excited for is Prom! The night were you get to feel beautiful and just smile, yeah, I am so going to have the best Prom night ever!
