I love you by Dyl4nl33:

On a field of fire and ash we played, me bearing a bow you wielding a blade, we would often sing, and dance and cheer, you my dear were always near, we lived near by, are fathers friends who worked together, our mothers like sisters who'd known eachother forever. But we were different, so much closer then that, so much closer then we were ever meant to be.

As we grew older, as we became young men, we were supposed to marry girls chosen by our fathers, to carry on their names, but war broke out, I admit it was actually a relief, because even tho there was all this pain and grief, loss and sorrow, I didn't have to let you go.

We both signed up to fight together and keep up, side by side, with you near I knew I could survive, keep you safe, and you said that I, helped you to keep up faith.

We fought by day, and by night layed close, a hand apart, and yet you claimed you could feel my heart, I wish I told you then how much I cared, I wish that i told you I wasn't scared.

After months of battling these creatures of the night, on a day the mood was far to light, on that day i tried to impress, that creature appeared in her tattered dress.

A siren, a creature that fed on man, I guess she had the perfect plan, as she sang her song, as you all grew weak, only I could still speak, I guess they didn't expect a man like me, I guess loving you kept me free.

As I charged ahead with your sword in hand, you called out, but I couldn't hear a sound, She thrust her blade inside my chest, just before I plunged yours deep into her breast.

You ran over, I'd never seen you so afraid, you held me still and there we stayed, you tired to stop the bleeding, but it was no use, instead I tuck the time to tell you the truth, I whispered with my dying breath, I love, John, my dearest friend, for you my life would gladly end.

As I whispered those words, as I began to fade, you pleaded with God and offered a trade, I hushed your lips and you lied beside me, closer then we'd ever allowed before, you held my hand as I walked through the door, for this I thank you, you granted me my final wish, as stole my breath with one final kiss.

So I tell you this as you sleep tonight, so you know that everythings alright, I want you to know, I want you to be happy, grow old, have kids and marry, but on one condition, never look back, don't do as they tell you, don't marry that woman, don't settle for less, because you my dearest deserve only the best.
