Chapter Eight

Tucker is 2 months old

Megan felt her nerves jumping all over the place as she and everybody else waited for Jake and Alyssa to come back. Megan had helped plan a surprise birthday party for Jake and just waiting for his reaction drove her crazy.

The minute Jake opened the door, everybody yelled surprise, completely catching him off guard. Megan smiled and laughed as Jake looked around in complete shock. Everybody took turns hugging Jake who was still in shock. Megan walked up to Jake who still had a smile on his face.

"Did you do this?" Jake asked as Megan wrapped her arms around him from the side. He put his arm on her shoulder.

"I planned a lot of it but I had help from everybody else." Megan replied as she looked at Jake with a smile. "The whole helicopter ride was a present but it was also a distraction to keep you gone for a while."

"How did I get so lucky to end up with a girl like you?" Megan giggled.

"You should thank the friend that forced me to go to your meet up. Otherwise you wouldn't have met me and we wouldn't be here." Jake smiled and kissed Megan. She smirked against his lips.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

The party was a lot of fun for everybody there. Jake had gotten his first tattoo which he decided on a small pair of holding hands representing him and Megan.

It made Megan feel even more loved by Jake to know that he chose a symbol of their love for his first tattoo.

The party had ended around 3:00 in the morning. Too lazy to walk upstairs, Jake and Megan plopped on the trampoline that had all the teddy bears on it. Jake was lying his head on Megan's chest as the two began to feel themselves falling asleep.

"Did you like the party?" Megan asked as she ran her hands through Jake's hair.

"I loved it, really surprised me." Jake replied making Megan smile.

"I wanted to do something special because lately you've been helping me with the problems with my parents and I guess it was my way of thanking you." Jake looked up at Megan.

"That's what I'm supposed to do. I'm supposed to be there for you when you need me too."

"I don't mean to make this about me but ever since I moved back here with you, I've felt like a burden because you always make sure I'm okay to be on your vlog every morning. And you have to make sure I'm okay with everything you do." Jake rolled over onto his stomach and looked up at Megan.

"You are not and never will be a burden on me. I love you and that means that I would do anything for you." Megan sighed softly. "I could've not invited you to back to the hotel. I almost didn't but seeing you, you were beautiful and different. I will always make sure you are okay with everything I do." Megan smiled and felt herself blush. Jake leaned forward and kissed her, letting his hand rest on her side.

The next morning, Jake spent the morning on the set of Bizaardvark. Megan stayed back at the house figuring out what she really wanted to do. She had offers from a lot of good modeling agencies thanks to Alissa and Jake helping her by take pictures for her Instagram. Megan also found out that her dad had been staying with his brother after he and her mom got into another fight about the whole situation about her mom blaming everything on Jake. Also, to add to that, a lot of Jake's followers and fans were still on the whole Jake and Alissa getting together thing.
