Zeke P.O.V

I haven't gotten a chance to thank Nicole about Noel punching me incident. Do I really want to thank her or just making it a reason to talk to her. She's nowhere to be seen. Where is she?

I saw the guy she's always with so I walked up to him. It's time for me to man up. "Hey." I stopped behind him. He turned around. "Sup?" He leaned to his locker.

"Is Nicole absent?" I asked him. "No, she never misses a day in school." He shooked his head. "Where is she then?" I asked for her whereabouts. "Why?" He looked at me skeptically. "Just wanna thank her for sticking up for me." I shrugged. "Okay. She's in the restroom though, I'm waiting for her to return actually." He still looks at me with a bored look on his face. It's he's not fascinated about my presence.

"Boo!" Nicole showed up behind me. When I looked at her, she's looking at the guy who's chuckling. Her eyes lit up and walked to him and gave him a hug.

I cleared my throat to capture her attention. "Oh hey.. umm what's your name?" She looked at me. Finally! She looked at me.

"I'm Zeke. Zeke Daniels." I let out my hand for her to shake. She looked at it and shook it. "Nicole. Nicole Beckham. This guy right here is Robert Mckinley." She let go of my hand and wrapped Robert's arm around her.

"So are you both dating?" I asked getiing curious. "No." They both said in unison. They looked at each other then Robert turn to me. "I'm her best friend."  Nicole smiled. "Only friend actually."

So it's true that she only has one friend but she looks happy for saying only friend. Is she contented with him? Does she want a few more friends?

"Oh. I'm here to thank you for defending me from my friend." I gave her a smile.

"You're welcome. I kinda enjoyed that moment." She giggled. "What moment?" I asked her. "The exchanging of words with Noel." She said. "You know him?" I asked her.
"Everyone in this school knows him." She reasoned.

"Hey, we have to go." Robert put his arm around her waist. "Later, dude." He nodded at me. "Bye." I looked at them and Nicole just waved at me. I waved at her back. When they were gone. My attention was on my hand. She touched. We had body contact. Although there's something bugging me! How come she knows Noel and not me?! And she also enjoyed the moment they had! Does she like Noel?! I'm gonna freaking kill Noel.

I can't let Noel take her from me. She's not even mine to begin with. Part of me wants her though and not my mini me part. I can tell that she's gonna be really important to me. I just have to find a way to not Noel win her over.
