"Doctor,Doctor she's waking up."
That's the first words I hear.
Where am I? Is that a heart monitor beeping?
These are my thoughts as my vision begins to clear up. I see the face of a white lady. She has long blond hair, big blue eyes and thanksgiving scrubs on.
I tried to sit up, but everything hurts tremendously.
What happened?
"Destiny, are you okay?" A man said walking towards me with a clip board in hand. But who is Destiny? Is that the nurse's name?
I look up at the nurse waiting to hear her response. She looked at me then the doctor then back at me.
"Destiny, sweety, he's talking to you."
Why do they keep calling me Destiny? That name is so ugly. Destiny. It sounds like someone feature on Bewitched. Who in their right mind would....
My thoughts were cut off when I heard the nurse mention amnesia.
"Doctor, she might just have amnesia."
" I see, it makes sense after that horrible accident"
Accident? Oh, that's why I was hurting when I was trying to sit up. But what accident? And what idiot was I with to be in an accident that causes me this much pain? I thought as I made a puzzling look.
"It should be easier to tell her then, but who will she be living with since her parents are dead and she has amnesia?"
"Stop it! I can hear you guys talking. Who are you ? Who is Destiny? Where am I? What accident? And why are my parents dead?!" Great way to start this conversation off. Verbal diarrhea.
