In the Life of Lauren Lane

Jessie held the gate ajar as Lily and I scampered from my 1950‘s sports car. This was most likely our hunderth time being tardy. Jessie and Lily are my best friends, Jessie and I have known each other since preschool and well Lily she is just the funniest girl I have ever met.

And who am I you ask, I am the only Audrina Lane, yes Audrina Lane. You don’t know who I am, well I am only  the daughter of the most famous actress Sarah Lane (the oscar winner for best actress). I am also the most popular girl at Montgomery Lake High.

You are probably wondering were the hell Montgomery Lake, it  is a small gated town in the east suburbs of Malibu, California. It is probably the oldest town in all of Malibu.

“ Have you ever thought about being on time” Nick snickered, he is my high school sweetheart..

“ I have an excuse” I said as my butt plopped into the seat. My homeroom teacher Mr. Francais glared at me across the room.

“ Oh yeah what is your excuse.” Nick sighed, propping his feet upon his desk.

I didn’t answer for a minute, Nick probably thought I was ignoring him, but I was really coming up with a smart remark.“ I was trying to look pretty for you.” I said with a big grin upon my face. He leaned over leaving a kiss on my cheek. My heart filled with joy as turned myself towards the front of the classrom.

When the bell rang I headed toward our lockers, Jessie, Lily and I all had lockers next to each other. But someone unexpected was standing right infront of mine, It was Lorena Scout. Lorena Scout is not just a player on the soccer team, she is my arch nemsis.

" Guess what, the scouts from Kings College contacted me privatley and said that they have chosen to give me the scholarship." To me Lorena sounded like one of those annoying squriels from the 40 century car insurance commercial.

"Whatever" I replied, as i grabbed my bag and headed to the girls locker room. I didnt like for people to see me

A week from now  was a big day, not only was it the soccer playoffs, but it is also the day when to the scouts come from King’s College. They were planning on giving either me or Lorena a full scholarship for all four years and also a contract with the U.S.A soccer team after you get undergraduate.

“ Have you seen Nick, he has been missing since homeroom and I have something special to show him” Whenever Nick went missing, I always turned frantic. Today I was going to show him how I was going to impress the scouts.

“ No but what are you going to show him?” Jessie always so very nosey, she likes to know everything that is going on. She is also a gossip magnet, whenever she finds something out she spreads to everyone from the jocks to the nerds.

“ Oh nothing, just show him after school.” I walked pass her to make sure I was in front of the crowd. We have this special formation when we walk through the halls, I’m in front and the girls are slightly behind me on each sides.

　

Today was Wednesday so that meant we had independent study , independent study was when we got out of school after lunch so the staff could have there weekly meeting. Normally we went to the mall on this day but I told the girls I would meet them later. I still wanted to show Nick what move I’m going to pull next week.

So I texted Nick to met me on the soccer field at 1, by the time I got changed and to the field Nick was waiting on the bleachers. First I started with showing him my signature moves that got us to the Playoffs, then I showed him the Ronaldhindo Sick Sack which is when you when trick the opponent into thinking your going to kick it up then you keep it low on the ground and hit the opponent in the shins so they fall and the ball rolls over them into the goal. Then so more simple moves and the last move was the Riquelme which is where you kick the ball up onto your back and then roll it to your head and bounce it up.

I ended up missing the mall, i told the girls we could Friday before my party. Every other Saturday my mom said I could have a party, while she was out at movie premieres.

Friday came around fast, after school we all rode to the mall in my car. We were planning on finding new party dresses and a great outfit for the after party. Normally I would have my party and then we would all go over to Lily’s House which was aright across the street from mine.

After the mall, I held a sleepover at my house, so in the morning we could start setting up. My parent had let me turn the guest house into my bedroom. Our sleepovers were pretty fun we would go in our spa and then watch movies in the theater.

The party was rather small compared to the ones I normally had there was approximately one hundred people. The whole time we stayed inside because of some rain, so we were stuck in the dance room and the diner. In the end people said it was one of my biggest hits.
