Chapter 1:

I woke up to a familiar smell. The smell of scrambled eggs. My every morning food.

"Wake up brat!" Screamed my sister, Demi. "If your not up on time I'm leaving with out you!"

Yes Demi was a big pain. She could drive, so all of her stupid rules, I had to follow. When I could finally pull myself out of bed, I nearly tripped over my iphone charger that I had dropped last night.

Ouch!

I wandered into my huge walk in closet.

What to wear, what to wear.

I grabbed a pale pink sweater and a pair of tight, ripped jeans.

I wandered into my hot pink bathroom. I grabbed a hair straightener and straightened my beach wavy hair.

"I swear Sophia, I will give you 5 minutes and then I'm leaving."

I rushed to put on my makeup and grabbed an energy bar.

Shoot! I forgot my phone! Ughh

I ran out the door, grabbed my fuzzy black North Face and slipped on my tall tan Uggs.

I ran through the garage, searching for my sister's pink ferrarri. She beeped and I hopped in the car.

"Uh uh!" Demi said shaking her fake newly french manicured finger in my face. "Backseat."

I sighed and opened the back door. These seats were so claustrophobic!

When we finally got to school I hopped out.

"Thanks." I said looking down at my shuffling feet.

She quickly drove away at like 80 miles per hour at least.

I ran up the steps.

"Hey darlinnng!" Megan said with her southern accent, just a tad over exaggerated.

"How is life Megs?" I ask as I twirl the lock on my locker. 2-38-19

"Not bad." She says.

Of course she's upset though. Last week her boyfriend dumped her. They had been together for 3 months and for high school life 3 months was like 3 years.

We begin to walk to the bathroom, but as soon as I start walking some kid walked into me.

"I'm so sorry." He said, picking up my books that had fallen.

I sighed. Polite didn't win me over. They should know.

To my surprise Megan starts to talk. "Hey. You just moved next door right?"

"Uhm I think.?" He says, sort of confused.

"Michael! Right? Michael Payne!" Megan says and snaps her fingers like she finally remembered something.

"Yes, that's m-"

But I sort of cut home off. "Payne?" I ask. "Like Liam Payne? Like the famous one?"

"Ya." He says looking awfully bored. "He's my cousin."

"Cool." I say and shrug my shoulders. Can't let someone like him know I'm interested.

Brring! The bell rings.

"Well, okay. Bye Megs!" I sing as I walk away with a smile plastered on my face.

I meet up with Megan and Ashley and Perry at lunch. The nauseating smell if burnt meat loaf drafts through the kitchen doors.
