I'm shocked, absolutely shocked. Nurses that knew my life story ran in to the room. I don't know what to do. and I think I might kill him now. But then he said, "Yes I know. I've been thinking, um, I have done you wrong and," he began. He then started crying. "I love you! I never meant to hurt you. I was just upset of how beautiful you were and everytime I looked at your face it made me feel so shameful."
He got me into tears. I said,
"I love you too," tears falling confusing everyone in the room. "I really do. I tried to be perfect for you."
He started ranting on about how precious I was.
"Thank you father, thank you."
"Come back and live with me please," he ranted. "Please..."
Tension filled the air. It was quiet, so quiet you could hear my tears fall to the ground. I, then said out of breath from the crying and talking, "I can't. I have a job, a relationship, and a beautiful house. I can't leave my memories behind."
In shock because I heard his mouth drop, I knew he was shocked about my lifestyle.
"But you're young and precious. Why are you working so hard. Let me help yo-" Then I heard the phone line go off.
My question was: Why?
