i
As I lay shivering
Seeking the covers of your warmth
Your body creasing my matress
Your rythmic breath
Fades away into the dark.
Same as every night I guess.
ii
Problem is, see
I can't dissociate my dreams
From my memories.
Were you ever there at all ?
I cannot remember, not now.
Not after this.
But then again,
I digress.
iii
Will this feeling ever cess ?
I plead for mercy,
Please, please, please,
Fill the hole
Shaped like your name
Left carved in
My now empty heart
iv
I'll stop now.
For my own sake,
Of course; Yours does not matter.
Not anymore.
Not after this.
