I sat up with a yawn as I stretched in bed, "It's finally Saturday." I rubbed my eyes and looked around my room for my phone, "I think I left it on my desk." I threw the covers off my legs and walked over to my desk. Any messages for today? I turned on my phone and saw that I had a reminder set for today, it was labeled "Potluck at Inuoka's". I smiled, "That's right! Since Nekoma won the Battle at the Garbage Dump against Karasuno, Inuoka is throwing a potluck party to celebrate." I have been good friends with Kuroo Testsurou and Yaku Morisuke since our first year in Nekoma. Since I go to a lot of their matches and know all the players, they decided to invite me over to the potluck. I was told to make desserts since Tetsu-kun and Mori-kun know I enjoy baking sweet things. "Well, I might as well get ready for the day since I'm up," I giggled to myself. I decided to wear cat stockings, denim blue shorts, a black spaghetti strap, and red flannel. I also styled my hair in twin ponytails because I felt like this would be a cute outfit to wear at the potluck.

After I made sure I was happy with my style for today, I went downstairs and got the ingredients to make strawberry daifuku and cake pops. "Good morning (f/n). You look cute today," the sound of my mother's soothing voice made me smile. I turned to look at her, "Thank you mom. I'm making dessert for the potluck." She made her way to the kitchen sink and washed her hands, "Would you like some help?" I passed her a paper towel before replying, "Yes please." Mom prepared the ingredients for the daifuku as I mixed the batter for the cake pops. I made sure we had enough of everything in order to make 36 of each dessert.

*Ding!* My phone caught my attention when I was about to let the third dozen of cake pops cool down on the table. I quickly emptied the cake pop molds and set the sphere shaped cakes on a plate to cool down. I picked up my phone from the counter and looked at it. It was a message from Morisuke, 'Hey! Just wondering when you're going to the potluck. Maybe we can walk together since we live near each other.' I blushed at the text, 'Yeah I would love to walk with you Mori-kun! I was thinking about leaving in an hour, so come over in 45min?' He replied almost immediately, 'Sounds good. See you then.' I smiled and put my phone over my heart with a light sigh. I have had a crush on Morisuke since the summer of our first year going on second for high school. We went to the mountains to camp with our families and Morisuke went exploring with me. We were running around and I sprained my ankle when I tripped over a tree root, so he gave me a piggy-back ride back to camp. He decided he would take care of me the rest of the camping trip since we were the only kids there and it was a minor injury.

I quickly began decorating the cake pops. There were a dozen of chocolate, a dozen of strawberry, and a dozen of vanilla cake pops. I covered each cake pop with velvet icing and put some rainbow sprinkles before putting them neatly in a clear container. Mom had already finished making the strawberry daifuku and was placing them in clear containers as well. "Something smells good in here," I looked at the doorway to see my dad. "Would you like to taste test the cake pops and daifuku dad," I asked with a smile. He nodded and I handed him one of each treat. "Mmm! The cake pops are really good. I'm glad your mother taught you how to bake. The strawberry daifuku is amazing as well," dad replied.

*Ding Dong* "I'll get it," dad said walking to the front door, "hello Morisuke-kun. Here to walk (f/n) to the potluck?" I peeked into the living room to see Mori-kun talking to dad, he was wearing khaki pants and a gray button-up shirt, "Yes sir. Is she ready?" Dad shook his head and let him in as I quickly went back to the kitchen to get the clear containers of desserts into a bag. "Hey (f/n)-chan. Good morning (l/n)-sama," Morisuke greeted my mother and me as he walked into the kitchen with a gray metal pot. "Good morning," mom and I said. I was looking for a bag to put my desserts in, "Give me a moment Mori-kun. I need to find a bag." He chuckled at me as I was going through the cabinet, "Take your time." I found a black bag with enough room to fit four of the containers in, "Ready!" I walked up to my parents and kissed them goodbye before taking the bag and heading to the front door to put on my red converse.
