I was never the first. Never picked first for sports. Never the first one boys looked at. Never the first person any of my friends called when they where lonely. Not the first child born either. In fact the youngest. Now the only child. Both sisters died in a car crash a year ago. Though I was not the first I was always the smartest. Always had A's. My friends always called me nerd, geek, and book worm because of my grades and I really like to reads.

"Im sure he does because you're so gorgeous. All guys notice you."
"Not even close to being right," I said knowing she's just trying to cheer me up. "Plus you know how I get around him."
"Then go for me. Not him or Luke but me. I need you there." She said putting all her sweetness into the last sentence. I sat there looking at the list I was making thinking a party before mine might give me some more ideas.
"Fine I'll go." I said giving up.
"Yesssss... Meet me at my house in half an hour with a suit case of your cutest clothes and all your makeup." After a pause she adds "Also pjs and anything else you might need. You are definitely staying at my house."
"K. See you then. Love you."
"Love you too."
Then she hung up
