Chapter 1

     Skys P.O.V

I hated every single day of my life since my mom died I've been miserable, my dad gets drunk every single day and beats me until he gets tired. Im sick and tired of him. I cant wait until I turn 18 and graduate high school but thats gotta wait, Im only a junior and 17 one more year I have to keep with all the pain.

*Beep Beep Beep Beep*

Ahhhh I dont wanna get up from my bed but I have to go to school, atleast thats the only place I dont have to hear all those screaming and beating and just be happy.

As I get out of my house, my dad turns to me pulling me back inside.

"Where do you think you're going?" asking all drunk.

"Let me go Im going to school" replying with tears coming down my face, I didnt wanted him to hit me again.

"No you're not, quit lying to your dad, you miserable bitch, get back in here." pulling me back, grabbing my arm really hard, and as he was about to hit me, my bestfriend rushed in.

"Dont you dare and hit her, you ass." her tone was getting angry. I was scare and relief she came in time.

"What you gonna do about it ha, ha?" not letting go off me and asking her all angry. As I was about to make a run for it, Christina grabbed a flower base and hit him hard knocking him out. Thats when we ran. I was crying so hard I couldnt stop. As I got on the car with Christina my dad woke up and ran after us, but it was too late we were gone.

"What the hell just happen?" Tina asked in shocked.

"I..I..I.. dont know, I cant go back home now, if I do he is gonna beat me to death, I..I.." I couldnt stop crying, even my make-up was running down, I look horrible my eyes are all puffy and red.

"Hell no you're not, you can stay at my place long as you want, my mom wont mind, oh and for your clothes dont worry you can use mine." she was offering, calming down a little.

"Thank you soo much Tina, you're always there for me, thats why you are my bestfriend I love you, and dont worry about me I wont be staying in your house that long I'll call my aunt Joy and ask her if I can stay with her, she'll understand me." my crying was calming down alittle bit, I really didnt wanted to go to school looking like crap.

"Your welcome, and you know I love you too." we both laughed alittle at the same time.

Christina has been my best friend since second grade, she's the one I tell all my secrets to. I remember how we first met. It was the first day of second grade we both had the same homeroom teacher, during lunch some boys were bothering me and I was crying,  she walked up to those boys and told them to leave me alone. Since the boys werent scare of her they didnt stop, but then I saw the cutest boy, well I thought he was cute, I was in second grade I thought everything was cute.He told them to leave us alone or else and they did and ran off. She was really nice to me and introduce herself and her brother, we've been bestfriends since than. She told me everything about her and her family, so did I.I also had a alittle crush on her brother like for two years. We didnt speak much though, I mean I've said hi before but we've never had a real conversation before.Now he is one of the hottest, bad boy, and biggest player of the school. He was a senior and Im a junior, even though I"ve been to Tina's house a lot I dont see him much, he is either lock in his room or out with his friends all night long.

"So are you sure you're ok? Do you wanna got to school or we can just skip if you wanna?' she asked me when we were getting close to school.

"No,no,no its ok we should got to school, I dont want you missing another day of school for me." I replied.
