I Figured it Out

Destruction happened. Debris is all that remains. I'm not saying that I'm surprised. But, if I weren't, why didn't I do anything to stop it. Sometimes I wonder to myself if life will go back to the way it used to be. Well...all I can say is that things will never be the same again yet, it's our own fault. We would still be alive if mankind weren't so weak. What makes us weak; fear. Fear is the one thing that makes us vulnerable and with it promises death and pain. Fear lies in wait to test our abilities and see if we can break from its grip. It keeps us caged. No. It keeps you caged. I'm not a person anymore.

It's all happening so fast. I can't believe it- I going back. Only a hundreds of years ago (780 years) I left my home planet and went to study the foreign and strange, yet quite delightful world known as Earth. Hiding undercover from the local authorities, I secretly build a life as a human known as Ashton Price and studied humans as they went on their daily lives. Their customs were strange, yet in a way similar that to our Zabroxian traditions. Overall, I can say that their planet is much like ours.

Twenty years as posing as one of them, I found that I had collected enough information and left the planet to show my information to my king- lord Mrgg. After showing him my research I was praised throughout all of Zabrox. Now, it was all good and well, then something even better to happened to me. Lord Mrgg was so pleased and fascinated with my report that he wanted me to go back and study even more on humans (specifically their ways of language).

So, I have made preparations to set off into Earth yet again (for what might be the last time) and do another report on the humans. Human years are so much more different than Zabroxian years so it's really been 780 years since I've seen the planet. Hopefully not much has changed since my last exploration. I should make it to Earth in the next few days. I have a new journal log and everything so that I can report everything that happens to me on Earth. I'm just so excited! I hope that I get to enjoy the planet that's my home away from home.

Agh!!!! That wasn't supposed to happen. All that noise. The nuclear exhaust must be low. Well, maybe no one heard me. After all, the scanners read that this is a deserted location. With only one life signal, maybe that person is asleep. Anyways, there's no time to waste, I get up from my chair and make my way towards the elevator. Inside, I get my morph pod and transform into Ashton Price. 10 seconds till the doors open. I wonder what's changed in Earth. Maybe the ocean is sweet instead of salty. 6 seconds? What kinds of people live in this region? I hope that their as nice as the people that I met in my last adventure. 2 seconds. Well, goodbye Zabrox. 1 second. Hello Ear-

Huh? What kind of... Where is... Why isn't... Is this Earth? No, Surely I put in the wrong coordinates. Yeah. That's it. But then... why do the scanners read that this is Earth?

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

My morph pod goes.

"Human life detected. Estimated time... 3 minutes and 22 seconds till encounter." I don't know what has happened here but I will find out. It is my mission after all. First things first, I can't be here. Maybe if I were to show up at the same time she did. Is that a good plan? Who cares? I need to know what happened here. I run away from my ship and hide in the bushes, awaiting the arrival of the one who will tell it all.

I wouldn't believe what I saw unless I saw it. It looks like a spaceship but that's... no! That doesn't exist. After everything I've been through I'm supposed to believe that an alien came from space. NOW! Of all times? Sure. But...if that's not what is, then what is it? Should I go in and see if I can scavenge anything? Or should I leave before something...other-worldly comes and eats my face? I hear a rustling in the leaves. What's that?
