Madilyn.
"Bye sweetie!" my mom yelled as I was holding my bags in a grassed field by myself. Now that I'm here, now what?
"Hi, my name is Emily, I am one of the counselors here. Need help finding your cabin?" she asked me. Emily was a girl who was probably in her late 20's, long dark brown hair with brown eyes and a body that looked like she was a runner.
"Yeah." I shyly said.
"What's your name?"
"Madilyn but I go by Madi."
"Well Madi, it looks like you are in my cabin." she looked at her list then back at me. "Come with me, our cabin is just up the hill.
Already I was nervous and scared. I didn't know how to act or what to say to Emily even though she was my counselor. I never really talked to anyone before so I had no idea what to say or act.
We arrived at our cabin and I was the first one to arrive. The cabin looked really spacious and heartwarming. Maybe coming here wont be bad after all.
"Since you are the first to arrive, you can pick any of the bunks. One that fits you best." she smiled warmly. She was really nice. Maybe I could actually make some friends.
I ended up going for the bottom bunk that was near the bathroom door. Sometimes when I get really nervous I tend to throw up a lot. So it would be better for me to sleep by the bathroom anyways.
Just as I went to lay my bed sheet on my bed another girl walked in. For a minute I thought she was a guy because she was wearing guy clothes. But once she spoke I knew she was a girl.
"My name is Spencer, I think I'm in this cabin." her voice filled the cabin as Emily walked to her.
"Well it looks like you are." she smiled again as she checked her clipboard. "Well Spencer, take any bed that you feel like."
"Thanks." she smiled and picked top bunk that was near the door. So Spencer and I seemed like we were total opposites.
"This is Madi." Emily introduced me to her.
"Hi Madi, it's nice to meet you." she simply said. She seemed really nice.

Spencer.
As my dad arrived at the camp, all my brothers and I got out of the car. Even though Cole and I were coming to camp, my older brothers insisted on coming to check it out.
"Oh sweet there's a court!" now I was really excited.
"I bet I can beat you." I was looking at Matt now.
"You wanna bet?" he smiled.
"Five dollars." I smiled back.
"Let's go!" we then both ran to the court.
"First to five wins, that's all!" my dad yelled from behind us.
I then said, "I start." as I checked the ball to him.
"Go ahead, you already know that I'm going to kick your butt." he muttered.
"In your dreams." I laughed. "Is that Taylor Swift?" I pointed from behind him. He then turned around in excitement but his smile left just as I scored a point.
