It was the first year of Kandi's new school, Rolling Stone High School. And what a great way to start the year than a week of summer school. Waking up early when you could still be in bed, having to meet new people, stuck in a boiling class with strange teachers. Who wouldn't like that?

Off went Kandi's alarm, it was time for school.
"Grr, why do I have to go?" Groaned Kandi's to her Mum whilst having breakfast.
"Oh do stop complaining, you'll need to meet new people before your first 'official day' at Rolling Stone. Besides it'll be good for you to learn where all the classes are."
Kandi's said nothing and grabbed her bag to leave. She saw it was 7o'clock and growled again. She got in her Dad, Tony's car, and the drove away. It took half an hour but they finally got there. The school was quite small, so it wouldn't be hard to find your way around. There weren't even many corridors only a, b, c, d, r, t and x. (Not including the library, canteen or multiple sports halls).
