White. That was all she could see. White and brown. 'Where on Earth am I' she was thinking. She looked at her surroundings once more and realized she was in a forest, but which forest? There were multiple forests near her house and town. Suddenly, she heard a nearby bush rustle and realized that she was terrified, but why? Shouldn't she feel more confused than scared? As she was looking towards the rustling bush, she had a strong feeling that she had to run, and that's exactly what she did. She ran, but she hadn't felt a thing. She wasn't in control of her limbs. What was happening? She looked back for some stupid reason, saw a shadow following her, and tripped. She saw that she had tripped over the root of a tree, then looked back up for the shadow, only to see that it had vanished. She knew that she couldn't be that lucky and tried to stand back up but failed. Something had happened to her ankle that she hadn't felt due to the adrenaline and the terror of the chase. Where has the shadow gone? Why wasn't it attacking her? That's when something at her from behind a tree. She was pinned to the ground, and tried to get her attacker off. She realized that she had closed her eyes when she was pinned, and opened them in an attempt to see the attacker's face. It was too dark to see clearly, but she did awesome thing slowly coming down towards her and she tried to scream-
Allia Blue woke up in her bed gasping. She was in her bedroom nowhere near the the forest. "Thank goodness," she said, " it was only a dream." The familiar surroundings of dark blue walls, soft purple sheets, and black furniture help to calm her rapidly beating heart. Allia looked at the clock and realized that if she didn't get out of bed soon, she would be late for school. She quickly changed and rushed out of her room to get breakfast. However, she didn't see the open bedroom window or the bright glowing eyes watching her from the edge of the forest.
