Bo Staffing (ep. 12)

The children woke fairly early compared to yesterday. Each one dressed and ready. Rose was busy brushing her hair on her bed, laying on her back while doing so and holding her hair above her face. Thorn was sitting on the balcony overlooking the zen area where he just fought Shiru the other day. He stared at the sand that was ruined by their running around, but oddly sorted out and sifted smoothly making ripples of an ocean as if peace surrounded it. The silence was quickly stopped by Shiru's screaming. Thorn ran in and pushed her door on the right open quickly. Rose as well stood next to Thorn, with her hair all down and her zig-zag part down her hair, both of the kids trying to see what was wrong.

Shiru squealed loudly and pointed at the ground, "Kill it! Get it out from here!"

Rose smiled and started laughing. She wrapped her arms around her stomach and laughed more as she doubled over slightly. Thorn started snickering and squinting at the ground.

"Don't just stand there! Kill the thing! It's huge. Oh, please get it out of here. I can't move. He's cornered me in the room! He might have more coming after me even."

Jynx came from the walkway by the dojo and looked into the room puzzled. She smiled and started to laugh just as bad as Rose. "What's going on here?"

Thorn smiled and pinched his brow, "There's a centipede on the floor. And she's afraid of it."

"It'll kill me! Can't you hear his legs tapping the ground an mocking me? Kill it!" Shiru screamed and held onto her pillow in fear.

Thorn walked into the room slowly and picked up the bug off of the floor and held it up in view for Shiru to see. She screamed louder and scrambled to the floor pushing Rose and Jynx out of the way running into the living room. Shiru hid in the corner covering her eyes from looking over the room. Thorn continued laughing before taking the bug outside to throw it into the grass a decent ways away from the building. He went back inside and smiled at Shiru as he held out his hand towards her as if there was something in his hand. 

Rose smiled and shook her head, "That's enough Thorn. Don't torture her anymore."

Jynx covered her mouth as she smirked. "Well, now that everyone is awake, how about we all go into the dojo? I have some things to show you all. You might want to know beforehand so you know what you'll be doing." Shiru stood up with the help of Thorn's outreached hand. Shiru smacked his shoulder as she walked passed him as if nothing ever happened and kept her head held high. Jynx smiled shaking her head as she paced herself down the walkway to the dojo. She slid the door open for the children to enter as she waited for them. "This is where you'll be training mostly. We will be going outside into the forest sometimes, but this is where we mainly will be. Today, I will train you to be more like a real 'Ninja'." The three followed Jynx's prompts into the dojo. All of them stood in the center of where the four sections met. She turned around and faced her team. "The section to your right is steam room to relax your muscles in after training, highly recommended. It should be a big help so you won't be so sore. I was checking it out yesterday, the men's is on the left and the women's on the right as you enter. To your guys' left is the obstacle course that I will operate to either practice one person at a time fighting you, or having multiple attackers at any given moment. That isn't one to do by yourself. Behind me and to my left or your right is the weapon practice area. This also needs to be observed at first till you are familiar with some of the weapons or figure out what you will be using mostly. The last one behind me is the martial arts training area. This area you can come to at any time. It's far enough away I believe that it won't wake up others if you must for what ever reason and ego you have to practice at night."

Thorn smiled and as did Shiru. Rose was busy putting her pig tails back into her hair. They all looked around noticing the different false bodies for practicing hitting and attacking. "So Sensei," Shiru piped up, "What do we all need this for to be a ninja? Don't we need just to actually fight people?"
