Diza Fanfic: Turn Off the Camera

Chapter 1: I AM NOT IN LOVE!

Liza's Pov

"GABBIE!! I DON'T WANNA!!" I whine as she drives us to her friend Zane's house. I'm new to LA and practically know nobody except like Gabbie. I don't even know who Zane is for pete's sake!

"Liza it'll be fine! You need to make friends! Plus there's this one person I definitely want to introduce you to." I groan. I swear if it was a boy who she's trying to get me to do the nasty with them no. I haven't had much luck with boys. But it never really made an impact on me and my life to be honest.

"Oh joy. But if it's-" Gabbie cuts me off. "IT'S A BOY! He's really cute and nice and funny. He's like my best friend. But I would never date him. But I think he'd date you! I told him some stuff about-" this time, I interrupt.

"Oh sweet lord baby Jesus what did you tell this boy?" Gabbie just laughs and smirks without saying a word or even looking at me. "We're here!"

I hesitantly get out of the car and see a nice house in my view. It looks pretty big but not so big. That sounded wrong.

"Well what are you waiting for? Let's go inside!" Gabbie pulls my arm and opens the front door without even knocking. "Manners Gabbie!" Speaking of manners, yeah she didn't follow me.

"WASSUP BITCHES?!" Oh gosh. "GABBIE!!" Everyone yells. I started to feel small. Well being 5"4 I'm always feeling small. But anyways, everyone was so happy to see and hug Gabbie that I was almost squished by a mob of people.

Hey's and hello's were exchanged until someone decided to speak up. A boy who looked around my age (meaning not old as heck like Gabbie.. Jk jk) dressed in all black, holding a camera and wearing a black cap that covers most of his face steps forward. "Who's your friend Gabbie?"

Gabbie grins and pushes me forward, front and center. "This.. this is Liza. She's the girl I told you all about David." David huh? David lifts his cap up a little which gives me a better look of what he looks like.

David is the guy she kept on talking about? The one who she told stuff about me? Goddamn he was cute. Real cute.

"Oh uh, h-hi Liza. I'm David." David stretches his arm towards me to shake. I slowly reached my hand up to his to accept the shake. As we stop shaking hands, he turns towards Gabbie and whispers something in her ear. Gabbje laughs and replies "well now you see". I wonder what he said.

David's POV

Liza. Liza Koshy. Elizabeth Shyla Koshy. This is the girl Gabbie kept on talking about? The girl she thought I would be 'oh so perfect' for? One word..  wow.

I shake hands with Liza as a greeting along with my stuttered introduction. As we stop shaking hands I turn to Gabbie and whisper in her ear.

"You never told me she was this beautiful!" I whisper-yelled in her ear. I really hope Liza didn't hear that.

As I pull away Gabbie laughs. "Well now you see!" She says in between giggles. "So um you and David are practically the babies in this house so you guys have fun while I try and get my mingle on." Gabbie says to Liza as she walks away.

"GABBIE YOU CAN'T- oh I'm going to kill that girl!" Liza slowly turns to me and just smiles kind of awkwardly. "Um hi." I laugh a bit to try and lighten up the mood and break the tension.

"So you're a viner huh?" I ask. She breaks out of her thoughts. "Oh um yeah. Now doing a few musical.lys and starting YouTube. You?"

"Vine and YouTube. I suck at musical.ly it's so bad." I laugh in reply. She laughs too. "Can't be that bad!" I nod vigorously.

"I can even prove it. Wanna go into a more quiet room?" She nod and follows me into the hallway into Zane's room.

"Wow, they're rooms are pretty clean." I laugh. I've been laughing a lot. I thinks it's kind of creepy actually.

Liza's POV

David starts recreating some of my musical.lys. No offense, he really does suck. But he's cute so it doesn't make much of a different.

"Ahaha oh my gosh! You really do suck." David pretends to curtsey and flips his invisible long hair. "Why thanking you daaaarling." He says with a funny British accent. I laugh back. Funny and cute. No stop it! Boys are stupid.

Yeah but David isn't stupid is he..

'Who said that?'

Your conscience. You looove David. Admit it Liza.

'What are you talking about?!'

You're falling for David. The guy Gabbie thinks you'll be perfect for. Liza you're so in love.

"I AM NOT IN LOVE!!" David looks at me shocked and weirded out. "Oops um, did I say that out loud?" David just nods his head, still in shock. I'm such an idiot
