Chapter 1: The End of a Beginning

-Aaron's Point of View-

So this was it. The last Magcon event was finally, dreadfully here. The last time I would have the opportunity to meet fans all around the world, the last time I would be able to travel the world with my best friends in the entire world that had come to mean so much to me, but also the last time Roxanne, my long-time girlfriend of 1 year 11 months and 23 days (yes I count I'm just sappy like that), would have to suffer through hundreds of girls kissing, hugging, and endlessly flirting with me. I'm upset that it's ending, but I'm excited to see what my future holds with Ally and where I'll go from here.

The Magcon Tour wasn't supposed to last this long, but we were on a roll. So many fans wanted to see us, so we decided to extend it from a one-year tour to a three-year tour. We may not always speak the same language as our fans, but the love we feel is universal, so we had to see as many fans as we could.

Through that love is how I met Roxanne. I met Roxanne at the beginning of the second year of the tour. We were in Columbus, Ohio and she had VIP passes so she was one of the few who could come in early on that Friday. She came right up to me, gave me the biggest hug I had ever received and still have yet to receive, kissed me on the forehead, and pressed a folded up letter with my name on it in the palm of my hand. She told me not to read it until I got back to the hotel. When I got back to my hotel, I opened the letter. A bracelet fell into my hand. It had an anchor and a fish, where the ending loop latches onto the edge of the anchor, and was braided rope, like a sailor bracelet. The letter was explaining everything she had ever wanted to say to me. At the bottom was her phone number and hotel room. She was in the same hotel as me and I was having second thoughts, but when I bumped into her at breakfast, I decided to give her a chance and ate breakfast with her. And now, almost two years later, here we are landing at my last venue together, the bracelet still on my wrist, a matching one on hers. This would be the first anniversary I wouldn't be on tour and I just had to make it special for her.
