--Cameil's P.O.V.--
I wake up to my alarm. "BEEP-BEEP,BEEP-BEEP,BEEP-BE-clunk!!" I smacked the off button and ended up pushing the clock of my nightstand. I opened my eyes and saw it was already 5:00am. "Time for school..." I whispered as I slipped on my jeans and my tee shirt that says "Let's Get Cray!"with a cat. I hated school so much but on the other hand I loved it. I had only one favorite teacher and I didn't have her till the end of the day.
After getting dressed, I walked downstairs to see my mom making pancakes and eggs. "Good morning, Cameil! Happy Monday!" She always tried to put a smile on my face. Plus, today was my 18 birthday. My mom slid a plate of breakfast towards me. I started to cut into my pancakes when she sat a lilac box with a blue ribbon next to me. "Happy birthday sweetie," She said as she walked to the bathroom to get ready for work. "Thank you ,mom," I replied.
I finished my breakfast and went upstairs to do my make up. I sat at my dresser and opened the tiny box my mom had sat next to me. It was a beautiful pearl necklace with matching earrings. I gasped in amazement. They were so pretty. I put the necklace and earrings on and smiled. "Hhmm... what make up shpuld I wear? Silver shadow, pink lipstick? Or... deep gray shadow and pink lipstick? I think I will choose the deep gray," and I started to apply my make up.
I looked at my wall clock... 6:15am. Time for the bus to come. I grabbed my backpack and lunch. Hugged my mom who said "Happy birthday. Have a great day!" And headed for the bus stop... completely unaware of what would terrifyingly hit me that day...
