MY KIDNAPPER _ a different love story.

chapter 1

"Beep beep" she lifted the mobile to read the message "Come out its already 9 pm" Nikhil
She smiled closed her laptop arranged the scattered pens and pencils neately back in respective areas kept the laptop in the bag and taking the bag and left. Took the lift and went to the basement floor. There she saw Nikhil on his bike waiting for her with a spare helmet in hand. She waved a hand and the next moment she was on his.bike wearing the helmet. He revved the engine and reached the DRD layout. She got down from the bike "bye see you tomorrow" she said smiling. He also said bye and started his bike. Her house is at the end of the left turn to the main road she was walking. "If Nikhil didn't wait for her today  and didnt drop her she would have reached an hour later which would be.almost ten. "Thanks Nikhil " she thought to.herself. Nikhil being her colleague for past one year has become her best buddy. Will always drop her whenever her scooty was under service.

She took few steps and horrified to see the scene just few meters away. A man was lying in pool of blood and another man came running towards her holding a knife. She couldn't see his face clearly as the man was wearing a hòody.As it was dark.

The man disappeared in the dark. She ran towards the man lying on the road. The blood was scattered and the man was holding his stomach with his hand. The blood was oozing from his stomach and he was crying in pain. She looked around if she could find anyone but in vain the road was deserted.  She still in shock and scared to touch the man but her mind worked. She took the phone from her bag and dialed the ambulance.  She also dialed police control room and informed about the incident. The police patrolling jeep and the ambulance arrived after fifteen minutes. In the meanwhile she was trying to understand the man's words he was murmuring something like "b.........r..........o c.......a...l.......l" and was screaming because of pain. "9.....7.....3 "but he couldn't complete and fell unconcious and the same time the ambulance also reached. "You go home. It seems to be a murder. Have u seen any one?" The police officer who came to the spot asked her "I ....I saw a man with a knife but I. .I couldn't see his ..his face it was too dark" she stattered.
"You go home if needed I will call you. Give me your number" she gave her number still horrified she slowly walked to her house.

She rung the bell and soon as her mother opened the door she hugged her tightly  and collapsed on the floor at.the door. Still holding her mother tightly  started crying. Her mother slowly patted her back to calm her down and said some consoling words and asked what happened in between. Still sobbing she said "m...mm.urder m....m..an" Her mother consoled her. After sometime she calmed herself and told the entire story to her mother.
She consoled her again "it's OK dear. How was that man? Weather was alive?"
All she could say was "I don't know before the ambulance reached he was trying to talk to me. ok I am tired I will go and rest. She said.

She went to her room and took a shower. Changed herself into night suit when her.mom came with a glass of milk
"Mom will you sleep with me today " she asked still scared of the incident.
She noded. And though they lied on the bed the sleep was far away far away from their eyes.

May be somewhere in the early morning hours she might have fallen asleep. Her mother who was ready in her cotton churidar with dupatta neately pinned  to the left side  her usual dressing for her office kissed her forehead."bye munni." And she called out standing at door" don't go to Office today take rest ok. And ha I. Will lock the front door and go" and she left from the place.

She couldn't sleep after that. She went to bathroom took a hot shower came out wearing a t shirt and a pair of jeans. Stood in front of the mirror and was horrified to see herself. Her fair face was swollen and her eyes had bags because of all the crying and sleepless night.

"Brrrŕr brrrŕ" the phone buzzed. She picked up "Hello" she said slowly "hello can you come to Shankar Nagar  Police station "

"Yeah! How is that m" before she could complete her sentence the call was cut.

"Mom I am going to police station they called me" she called her mom and informed.

She took the scooty from the service station and went to the Police station. She entered a constable signalled her to wait. She  saw an old bench against the wall and sat down. There were police men walking in and out of the office.of the Inspector. Some gave her a weird look and others ignored. She was signalled to go inside after waiting for one hour.

She entered and saw the same Inspector sitting on his chair. The name plate on the table read"Prasad Hikkanakeri"
He looked up to her face from the papers that he was going through and signalled her to sit on the chair opposite to his desk.

"So can you tell me about yesterday's events in detail"

She explained all the things which she remembered.

"A sketch man is coming you givethe details about the man you saw with knife so that we can trace the murderer. And the man who died was  Vijay Bandari" inspector said and asked her to wait outside again.

After two hours when the set man came she gave him the minute details that she remembered about the murderer and he drew the sketch.  She was stunned to look at the picture as it was exact copy of the person she has seen. The person was able to draw his face also. She said he looks exactly the same.

She was relieved to know that she can go out for.now and she was even told if required she will be called again.
She noded and called Nikhil.
Her entire day has gone in Police station it was already 6 in the evening  she wanted to have coffee. She didn't even had her breakfast and lunch.

She drove to her favourite restaurant and she found Nikhil already sitting on their regular spot.

She went and sat opposite to him."hey! Wats up?  U didn't come to office also today"
She wanted to tell him everything but she couldn't.

"Nothing not well I won't come for another two three days  u can explain to our boss" she said calmly.

They sipped their coffee and had some idly and sambar. She bod good bye and left.

She was almost in the layout that she lived. When suddenly a car halted in front of her scooty and she applied sudden break. Four men came out of the car.holding guns. They looked so ferocious they were well built and they had uniforms like of some security guards. They signalled her to get down and asked her to park her scooty behind a big tree on the side of the road and took the keys from her. Two men moving forward and two men behind her pointing gunpoint took her to the big SUV. She was pushed inside the.middle row. They all got in and the SUV picked up the speed in no time they were on the Highways.
