Regina climbed off the table, still wrapped up in the arms of her son and soulmate. "I need different clothes. These have been on me for a while." She laughed, seeing their concerned looks when she almost slipped. She headed up the steps, followed by Robin. When she got to their room, she changed into Robin's sweat pants and a white tshirt. Robin wrapped his arms around her waist, reveling in the feel of her in his arms. She turned around, wrapping her arms around his neck and holding him close. He kissed her forehead, happy to be back with her. She yawned, causing him to chuckle and her to blush. "Shut up." She said, walking to the bed and slipping under the sheets. He laid next to her, immediately wrapping her up in his arms. Henry walked in and sat on the edge of the bed. "I'm just going to take a short nap, then take a shower. Maybe later we could play a game of some sort." Regina said, followed by a nodding Henry. He stood up and walked out of the room, dialing Emma's number. "She's back!" He squealed, followed by the sound of Emma's phone dropping. When he heard her pick it up again, she said, "I'm on my way. Even if she isn't awake now, I'll be there when she wakes up. I've missed my best friend." Henry ended the call and went to his room.
Regina's eyes fluttered open, the feeling of Robin's lips on hers. She kissed back, loving waking up like this. "I love you, too." Robin said when he realized she was awake. Regina hugged him, cuddling into his chest. "By the way, the Charmings are here." Regina groaned, not really wanting them to be here even though she missed them. She missed her step-daughter and her best friend. David, not so much, but the shepherd did have his moments. "I'll take a shower and be down soon." Regina slipped out from under the covers and walked into the bathroom. She wondered if everything in her body was the way it was before she died. Maybe Gold's preserving spell kept every part of her the same. If so, how was she going to tell Robin? She was just raised from the dead, what would a baby do to them? She stepped into the shower, letting the water wash away all of her worries. He had just told her he loved her; everything was going to be okay.
"She's awake, but in the shower. Give her a few minutes and she'll be down." Robin told the worried family. Snow nodded, ready to see her step mother. Three months without her was three months of torture for Snow. Emma had been depressed without Regina. Even though she had hated Regina before, now she loved her. The two would go out for lunch every Thursday and Emma would help Regina, much to her despise, make dinner every Friday. "Is she still, you know?" Emma asked, not knowing if Robin knew about the baby yet. "Is she still what?" He asked, confused. "The same as she was before?" Emma asked, not telling him about the baby. The only reason she knew was because during lunch one day, she ordered chicken and Regina ran out of the room sick. Turned out, she was pregnant. That's when it hit Emma. That Thursday night Regina was supposed to tell Robin about the baby, but died instead. Robin knew nothing of her pregnancy. Robin nodded, saying, "She's exactly the same. Yet now she likes cuddles more." He laughed, seeing their family's shocked faces. A few minutes later, Regina walked down the stairs in the same clothes she was wearing before her shower. Emma ran to her, almost tackling her in a hug. Regina was shocked, but after a moment, hugged her friend back. "Don't ever do that again." Emma said, clutching her friend, a lump in her throat. Regina nodded, eyes filling with unshed tears. "Are you still..." Emma asked, whispering. Regina shrugged her shoulders slightly, not wanting to give herself away. "Regina, aren't you at least going to say hi to us?" Snow asked, watching two of her favorite people reunited. Regina released Emma from her embrace and hugged Snow. "We missed you." Snow said, almost crying. David put his hand on Regina's shoulder, not wanting to pull her away from Snow but wanting to let her know he cared for her. Regina turned around and hugged him, but their embrace lasted for a few seconds instead of minutes like it did with Emma and Snow. Robin grasped her hand, linking their fingers together. Henry came out of the kitchen holding a bowl of cereal. The adults turned and looked at him as he munched away on his Cocoa Puffs. "What? I was hungry." He said, causing Robin and David to laugh at the growing boy.
"You cheated." Emma said, throwing down the fake Monopoly money in front of Regina. "I did not, you just don't know how to manage your money." She laughed, this being her third game in a row that she had won. "Maybe you could teach me sometime." Emma suggested, trying to get more time to spend with Regina. The two had become almost inseparable since Regina's return. Regina slowly stood up from the table, feeling the blood rush from her head. She swayed a little, scaring Emma. She stood up immediately, balancing her friend. "Are you okay?" Regina nodded, rubbing her temples. "I'm fine, Swan. I'm not going to break." Emma nodded, still protective of her best friend. "I know, but now you don't have to just worry about yourself." She placed her hand on Regina's stomach. The two hand gone to Dr. Whale a week ago to see if the baby was still alive. It turned out that Gold's spell had preserved the baby, pausing the growth of it and when Regina was brought back to life, the baby had started growing again. Regina was now a month along, and she still hasn't told Robin yet. "When am I going to tell him? How?" Regina was now worried. She was back for three weeks and her and Robin had barely had any time together. They had cuddled late at night, but anything more than those simple conversations were nonexistent. "How about tonight? I can take Henry and let you guys have a date night. I'm sure Killian won't mind. Besides, you two need some alone time." Emma patted Regina on the shoulder, trying to comfort her. Regina pulled Emma into a hug, starting to cry. "What did I do? Did I say something?" Emma asked, confused as to why Regina was crying. She pulled away, voice straining as she said, "No, it's just I've never had a friend like you. Why did I even hate you? You just wanted to spend time with Henry, and I was selfish like I always am. I'm too selfish to even tell Robin about his unborn child. What's wrong with me?" She asked, tears falling again. 'Good Lord, the hormones are crazy with her.' Emma thought, slowly pulling Regina back into a hug. "You aren't selfish, you are just worried about how he'll react to the news. Don't worry, though. In sure he'll be ecstatic when he finds out." At that moment, Robin walked into the foyer to see the two women hugging. "I'll be ecstatic when I find out what? Regina, why have you been crying?" He asked, pulling her to him and kissing her temple in order to comfort him. Emma slowly walked out of the room, not wanting to ruin the moment when Regina told Robin she was pregnant. Regina looked up at him with brown eyes glazed with tears. Seeing his concerned face made her want to cry, the hormones causing her to be over emotional. She pulled away, walking out the door and up the stairs to their room. When Robin got there, he saw her sitting in the floor clutching her knees to her chest, pointing to the cabinet beneath the sink. He opened it, finding a piece of toilet paper wrapping something up. Slowly he unwrapped it, finding the pregnancy test. Positive. He threw it down when he saw the results and pulled Regina into his lap, hugging her tightly. He placed one hand in her hair and the other on her stomach. "I love you both so so much. Why were you worried?" He asked, seeing her anxious eyes. "I thought you would be upset. We always said that Roland and Henry would be enough. Besides, I thought I was infertile. I guess meeting you changed that." Regina nuzzled her head into the crook of his neck, breathing in his scent. "I would never be upset. Getting you back and now a baby on the way, I'm the happiest man alive." He placed a chaste kiss to her forehead, heart brimming with love for her and his unborn child. "How far along are you?" He whispered, seeing her relax in his embrace. "A month." She placed a kiss to his neck, standing up. "Did Gold's preservation spell keep the baby alive, too?" He asked and Regina nodded. He pulled her back into an embrace when she opened the bedroom door, happiness filling him to the brim.
