Amelia's POV
I walked out of my dad's car and watched as he drove off to work before going into my new school. I was scared. Why you ask? Well, I'm new, I have no friends, I don't know where any of my classes are, and I have no idea if I am going to be liked by anyone or just be the outcast like I was in my other school. (A/N just to be clear she's 17.)
I dragged myself into the building immediately becoming conscious of the clothes I had worn compared to the other girls. I wore a sweatshirt and leggings, and my blue converse, while they wore crop tops and dresses and skirts. I'll have to pick out what to wear tomorrow carefully. Shaking me out of my thoughts, a tall boy wearing a black snapback bumped into me. "Sorry!" I said, trying to get away before I embarrassed myself even more. "Hey wait." I turned around and got a good look at his face. Damn.
"Are you the new kid?" "Yeah." I replied cautiously. "Do you need help finding your classes?" "That depends, are you one of those jerks who try to be nice and just completely embarrass me in front of the entire school, and make me want to kill myself?" He gave me a weird look and took my paper listed with my classes.

"Hey!" I turned and saw the boy who led me to my classes and smiled. "You have lunch now right? Why don't you sit with me and a couple of my friends." "I'm not so sure about that." "C'mon they'll love you!" I shook my head. "Please! I-" "Why do you want me to sit with you so bad?! We only just met today!" I yelled. "I'm sorry..." He said barely a whisper and began to walk away. "Wait. I'm sorry. I guess what happened in my old school left me without the ability to trust anyone." His smile was back and he said "So you'll sit with us?" "I guess." I said biting my lip. "I never caught you're name?" he said suddenly as we got closer to the cafeteria. "Amelia." "Hello Amelia."
