The sun shone brightly down on Dan and Phil, searing straight into Phil's eyes. He groaned and opened them, realising immediately he'd left his contacts in. He moved to sit up but he was stopped by the warm body lying across his own. Dan definitely doesn't move in his sleep. He stayed in the exact same position all night, forcing Phil to do the same but he didn't mind all that much. He smiled at the blurred mess of hair in his face before miraculously managing to get his contacts out and his glasses on. Finally able to see again, he sighed, running into a dilemma. Stay in bed with Dan or make breakfast for him to wake up to, plus getting to gently wake him up and be the first thing he sees when he wakes up in the morning. But what if he wakes when Phil tries to get up? Decisions, decisions. Dan's warm, shirtless chest felt so good against his own. Phil felt so comfortable holding Dan in his arms. Dan had his head on the left of Phil's chest, his face facing away from the window so at least it wouldn't wake him up. His arm rested on the other side leaving his hand to gently rest between Phil's collarbone and the bottom of his throat. Phil had his arms wrapped around Dan's middle and their legs were tangled in a mess of sheets and sweatpants. Phil basked in the moment for a little longer before reluctantly sliding out from under Dan, careful not to wake him. He then slipped on a blue lion t shirt and black skinny jeans before setting out a pair of the same kind of jeans and a long sleeved white shirt out of his bag for Dan.

It took Phil about an hour to make enough pancakes, eggs, and bacon for the both of them. Once he'd finished he set their plates, a cup of coffee, and a cup of tea for Dan on a tray before walking back up to his room. He set the tray on the bedside table before sitting on the edge of the bed. Phil let his hand caress along Dan's cheekbone and down to his jawline, lifting his face up slightly. He's so beautiful. Even in sleep. Not wanting to get caught, Phil rested his hand on Dan's shoulder, shaking him slightly. "Dan." He spoke. No response. "Dan, I've made you some breakfast." Still out. He sighed. Phil wanted so badly to kiss along the boys neck and chest until he woke. To greet him with a smile and a kiss but he couldn't. Phil sighed to himself. He'd only met him a week ago and he could tell he'd already fallen in love. Phil tried again, a bit louder this time. "Dan!" He grumbled and clutched the pillow beside him before letting his eyes finally flutter open. The only thing he could see was Phil's beautiful face illuminated by the sun's warm glow, making his blue eyes pop with colour. "Morning sunshine." He said, a soft chuckle escaping his lips. Dan yawned, rubbing his eyes with his fists lazily. "Morning." He mumbled back, still not quite awake.

"I brought you breakfast" Phil said, gesturing to the tray on the table. "Ooh, pancakes." Dan spoke happily, forcing himself to sit up so he could take his plate. He took a bite with his fork, savoring the sweet taste of syrup on his tongue. Phil's pretty good. Phil smiled, glad that he likes it before setting his shirt next to him. Phil watched as Dan slipped it on, trying to ignore the bandages he'd wrapped around his wrists the night before. "So what shall we do today?" Phil asked, not wanting to sit in awkward silence. Dan shrugged, "Whatever you want Philly." Phil blushed darkly at the nickname. He then looked out the window and his eyes lit up like that of a child's. "Dan, look! It's snowing outside!"

"Is it?" Dan groaned. "It's gonna be coooold."

Dan swore he heard Phil giggle. "Put on a coat! I wanna go outside!" He shouted, then rushed to put on his coat, leaving his mostly finished pancakes to be forgotten. Dan instantly regretted his decision to let Phil choose what they did as he heaved on his coat and trudged outside only to be smacked in the nose by a snowball. He saw Phil right in front of him, a shit eating grin on his face.

"You shouldn't have done that." Dan warned, bending down to gather a snowball in his hand. Phil squealed and ran behind a tree, using it as a shield while he made one as well. As he had himself facing the tree however he did not antici[ate Dan coming around behind him and throwing a snowball at the back of his head. "Hey!" Phil shouted. The two quickly engaged in an intense snowball fight. They ran around Phil's backyard, laughing and smiling. Even Dan who's head was quiet and had forgotten about the cold. He was just having fun in the snow with Phil who'd just decided to tackle him to the ground. Dan fell backwards, the snow breaking his fall as Phil shoveled more on top of him with his hand. Dan couldn't keep from laughing as he spoke. "Okay! Okay you win stop!" Phil did and suddenly realised he'd been straddling Dan's lap in order to smother him in snow. The very snow that was now buried deep in his hair, little flakes littered over his face, and had been dragged over his chest. He looked beautiful like this. Rosy pink cheeks and covered in snow. He began to lean in, entranced by those lips. Dan felt his heart start to skip beats as his stomach began doing somersaults. It was happening. He was actually going to kiss Phil Lester.

No. Phil doesn't deserve someone like him. Dan grabbed Phil by his coat collar and flipped them over, now burying Phil in snow who shrieked then started laughing. "Ah! I forfeit! Dan! I said I forfeit!" Phil could feel the cold settled into his pores as Dan laughed, getting up on his feet. He then held out a hand and pulled Phil up as well who struggled to get the snow out of his hair. Dan smirked in victory. "Ha ha. I wiin. You looose." He sang childishly. Phil rolled his eyes. "Yea yea. I'll bring it back next time!" He threatened. "Mmmmhmmm." Dan smirked sassily. Phil just laughed and began heading into the house. The warmth of the house greeted them like an old friend. Dan plopped on the couch and wrapped a giant blanket he'd taken from Phil's room around himself. Phil smirked as he removed his coat and scarf, hanging it on the coat rack next to Dan's. He sure moved quick. "How about some hot chocolate?"

"Mmmm yes. With marshmellows." Dan said as he switched on the telly. Phil nodded and headed towards the kitchen to make some. Once he'd finished he joined Dan on the couch for some anime. He'd been watching Blue Exorcist. "I love this show!" Phil exclaimed as he cuddled up with Dan under his blanket for warmth. "Me too." Dan mumbled, entranced by the show. Phil handed him his chocolate and they both sat pressing against each other to keep warm and drinking hot chocolate while watching an anime. Both boys seemed to have forgotten all about that almost kiss they'd shared outside. Phil looked over at Dan who still had little flakes of snow in his hair. They were beginning to melt not helping Dan's case of hobbit hair. He smiled to himself. He loved those curls and decided that he'd try and convince Dan to wear them more often. They were adorable and should be worn proudly.

Phil realised he was staring and looked away as to not be creepy. He instead tuned in on the anime. Little did he know that Dan had taken his place now staring at Phil. His eyes raked over the beautiful mans body. His black skinny jeans didn't leave much for the imagination to which Dan sure was happy about. Phils t-shirt hung loosely on him but not by much. He had his hand placed around his mug, absorbing the heat and his knees up to his chest as he leaned against Dan. Phil was so cute. Dan continued his analysis of Phil now onto his facial features. Those perfect pink sat in a smile, popping slightly with colour against his pale white skin. However, the best part of all were those eyes. Those vibrant shades of blue twisted and swirled around each other. They blended perfectly to form something more beautiful than the sky, the ocean, anything really. Dan smiled a bit, wishing he could have that. He wanted that. For those blue pools to be his. He wanted Phil. He wanted Phil bad but he could never tell him that. Afterall, Phil deserves the best and Dan was far from.
