Ash Ketchum, a sixteen year old boy who has never won a league. After being defeated in the Unova league he decided to go home and find a new place to travel to with his partner Pikachu.
Ash: "Let's go Pikachu, I can see the house!"
Pikachu: "Pika!"
Ash: "I'd better knock."
Knock knock
As he knocked his mom opened the door and walked away, staring at the floor.
Ash: "That was weird."
Ash followed his mom into the living room and saw all his old traveling companions.
Ash: "Hey guys why are you all here?"
Dawn: "Because you need to stop challenging leagues. You always lose!"
Ash: "Is that true?"
Gary: "Yes."
Ash: "Well then, I'm leaving and don't expect me to come back!" Ash shouted angrily.
As Ash left he stopped by professor Oak's place and got all his Pokémon. Then he left Pallet Town.
One Year later
Ash: "Let's go, Pikachu!"
Ash was running through the airport with all his Pokémon in their balls except for Pikachu.
Ash: "Pikachu hurry up!" Ash said, as he ran into a girl.
Ash: "I'm so sorry ma'am."
???: "It's ok, my name is Serena."
Ash: "I'm Ash, and this is Pikachu!"
Serena looked like she had seen a ghost after hearing Ash's name.
Ash: "Um, Serena, are you okay?"
Serena: "Yea I just remembered a promise I made years ago."
Ash: "Oh ok, I hate to ask this of you but do you know where gate 3E is, the flight leaves soon and i don't know where to go."
Serena: "Yea follow me" She said as she walked towards the gate.
Ash: "Thank you" He said as he walked onto the plane only to be surprised by Serena sitting next to him.
Ash: "Um are you also going to Hoenn."
Serena: "Yes, I'm starting my journey there."
Ash: "Do you want to travel with me then" Ash asked as he was getting his phone out to listen to music.
Serena: "Sure" She said excitedly.
Ash: "Ok then meet me at Professor Birch's lab when you're ready to travel" He said playing his favorite band and going to sleep.
