A few days later, Thursday to be exact, while waking up, I felt a little sick but I still decided to get up for school. I did my daily routine then walked out the door to Dylan's car. He picks me up every day so that Ronaldo doesn't have to drive all the way to my house every morning.

"Good morning, Dylan. How are you?"

"I'm good and you?"

"A little sick but I'll be okay. Can I tell you something but you'll have to keep it to yourself."

"Of course. You can tell me anything."

"Well... I'm pregnant."

"Oh... Congratulations I guess."

"And you're the father..."

As soon as I said that, I saw the biggest smile on his face. I wasn't expecting that. His smile made me smile.

"Royalty, when did you find out?"

"About three days ago. I didn't say anything until now because I wanted to be sure. I took a test before leaving the house and it came out positive again."

"Does Ronaldo know?"

"Not yet but I plan to tell him this afternoon."

"I'll be nearby just in case you need help."

"Thank you so much."

Once at school, Dylan walked me to my class although I would usually go to Ronaldo first. I just couldn't face him today. During class, I struggled to pay attention because of everything that was on my mind. It's going to be a long day.

During lunch, I barely ate any of my food because of everything that was on my mind. Dylan was trying to comfort me and it did make me feel a little better. It's a lot to deal with so I'm happy that Dylan cares.

The bell rings for us to go to our class after lunch and I rushed to the classroom. Mr. Wright, my psychology teacher, already knows about my pregnancy since I emailed him this morning, so he's allowing me to sleep in class if I need to.

During class, I couldn't focus on Mr. Wright at all. Dylan offered to take my notes for me and I let him. If I wrote them, it wouldn't make sense. While he's writing my notes, I noticed how pretty his handwriting is and I smiled a little.

By the end of the day, I start making my way to Ronaldo's car so that I could tell him the news. It's going to be hard but he has to know.

"Hey, Royalty. Are you feeling okay? You look a little sick."

"I'm okay but I need to tell you something important."

"Okay. What is it?"

"I'm pregnant."

"Babe that's wonder-."

"But Dylan is the father."

When those words left my mouth, he just stared at me then at my stomach. I wanted to cry because of how bad I felt, but he didn't seem to be too upset about it.

"When did you guys have sex?"

"About a week ago when I tutored him. I don't know how we ended up having sex but it happened," I explained.

"I would be mad at you if I didn't keep a secret from you. Have you noticed how Alicia has been out recently?"

"Yeah. What's wrong with her?"

"She's pregnant... and I'm the father."

When he said those words, I just walked away without looking back. I went to Dylan's car and he opened the door for me then got in himself.

"What's wrong, Royalty?"

"Do you know Alicia?"

"Yeah."

"Ronaldo got her pregnant."

Dylan hugged me so tight when I told him. I really shouldn't be upset because I cheated too, but it still hurts.

Once I got home, I went upstairs and just laid in bed. I just couldn't deal with everything all at once. Not only am I pregnant, Ronaldo got Alicia pregnant. Struggling.

I eventually fell asleep and it was a really relaxing night. I dreamed about a perfect life with my baby and Dylan. It made me feel so happy. Once I woke up next morning, I was pretty disappointed that it was only a dream.

Ronaldo and I went the rest of the week not talking to each other. It was upsetting but I just dealt with it. When the weekend finally came, I decided to stay at Dylan's house for the weekend. We had fun and his mom can really cook. I don't want this weekend to end.

At the dinner table, Dylan, his mom, my mom, and I sat and talked about the whole situation. Dylan's mom, Catherine, started the conversation.

"Royalty, it's so nice to fully meet you. You can call me, Catherine."

"It's nice to meet you too. This is my mom, Maria."

"It's nice to meet you, Catherine. You have a beautiful home," Maria said.

"Thank you! Now, I'm happy for the both of you and I wish you the best, but taking care of a baby is a big responsibility."

"We know and we're going to do the best we can," Dylan replied.

"Well I don't agree with this. I expected better from you, Royalty. How could you do this to yourself?"

"Mom, accidents happen. I'm sorry but there's nothing I can do," I told my mom.

"Well there's something I can do. You may be my daughter but you can no longer live in my house."

When she hit me with those words, I felt my whole world just fall apart. I couldn't say or do anything at that point. Dylan hugged me while I cried into his chest.

"Maria, I think you're overreacting. She's your daughter for crying out loud. You should at least support her," Catherine said.

"I can not support this. I'm going home."

And with that, my mom left. I felt so upset that I couldn't even move from Dylan's arms.

"It's okay Royalty. I'm here for you," Dylan whispered as he continued to hug me.

"Royalty, you can live here with us if you want. You can either sleep in Dylan's room or the guest bedroom. I don't think your mom will ever change her mind, so starting tomorrow, we can move your stuff to here. Would you like that?"

"Yes. Thank you so much for being so understanding."

"No problem. I can tell that you're a nice girl and I only want the best for you, Dylan, and my grand-daughter."

That night, I slept with Dylan since I didn't want to sleep alone. Starting tomorrow, Sunday, we'll be living together. Life is crazy.
