This poem is dedicated to my Beautiful guardian Angel,

Because heaven couldn't wait for her!

The story is one out of a million major special and magical stories whether that be good or bad that has happened in my life. This one being delicate, awakening and a sensitive story involving my darling sister, Karla Ann.

Shout out to @say_watt_

For making me a beautiful cover! thanks heaps sweetheart :)

*********************

My twin sister and a little help from my younger sister wrote this poem.

I was 8 and obviously so was my twin, my younger sister was 5.

We read this out to around 100 people at her memorial, shaking crying, and nervous as we could ever get. But we were proud to have a sister like her, so we did it with all that we had!

* imagine 2 little twin girls on a small stage with no microphone, just our little voices and sobs

Cradling each others hands, and hugging each other trying to gain enough strength to read:

"We never wanted the day to come,

When we would have to say goodbye

To our little sister Karla Ann

But I guess we will have to try

It broke our hearts

When we were told of the news

That you had passed away

We didn't know what to do

And didn't know what to say

Where are you Karla? On this beautiful day?

Maybe now you are a dolphin

Or the brightest star at night

We know that you are not sick anymore

That, we do have right

You are at peace now Karla

And our memories will not fade

Especially when we think about,

The days that we all played

We read you stories, and you helped us with craft

And we really enjoyed helping with your bath

You were beautiful and you were smart

We will always have you in our hearts

You were sweet and you were funny

We played in the pool when it was sunny

We will miss you Karla

You meant such a lot

The memories of you... never forgot

Love from your big sisters

Jade, Jacinta and Alyssa"

*the audience is silent... we didn't know what really was happening....

It was just a big blur getting more blurry and moving in slow motion and we walk back to our seats*

Mum told us she was just asleep and wouldnt wake up.

- Lights out Karla xx
