Daylight was creeping across the sky, small raindrops prickling on the windows of everyone's dwellings, the fresh scent of flowers fumed the air. Danny hadn't slept due to a storm the night before, he had been staring out his window all of the night. Focused on the rain. He fixed his eyes on the house next to him, pointing out every crack embedded into the old paint. He couldn't get any rest for reasons such as a new breakup, and his Insomnia. His eyes appeared to be blackened out by the restlessness. He was fatigued. He was wheezing from dehydration and collapsing from exhaustion, until suddenly; he heard an alarm clock blaring. He looked over at his clock and noticed it couldn't be his, plus his parents were already at work. He spent two minutes looking for the source and found himself dumbfounded by finding out the ignorant noise was coming from the house next to his. He climbed out the window and sat on the sill, tilting his head slightly due to curiosity. He didn't care that he was only in his black boxers, detailed with a white rim, and his pale skin showing. He just wanted to know, why would anyone get up at six in the morning on a Saturday?

There it is, the annoyance of the clock that Tyler had by now broken three times from slamming his hand onto the button. He always wanted to know when it would finally fall apart, so he tested it. Awaking from a nightmare, he sleepily threw his hand up, pounding the clock and heard it scramble to the floor. He smirked knowing it were broken now. Now he doesn't have to deal with the ticking or the ringing. Now he can sleep in peacefully. He was falling back into a deep sleep until a thought sprung into his head which he said aloud.

"Dammit! I have to get ready..." Tyler repeated the exact words in his thoughts. He lifted his head towards his window and jumped after seeing a figure across from his face into the next house. He yelped, but then realized it were only another person. He looked strangely out the window and waved awkwardly, not knowing what else to do. He opened his window to greet the boy only a few feet away. He knew this was weird, but why not? He looked like he needed someone to talk to. As soon as he opened the window; the boy spoke.

"Hi" Danny quietly said.

"Hi? Uh.. What are you doing? Why are you sitting on the outside of your window?" Questioned Tyler, investigating every sharp curve of the boy's jawline and collar bones.

"Only wondering why you're getting up so early to an alarm clock." Danny answered Tyler's question.

"Only doing the same thing you should be doing... What's your name?" Awkwardly remarked Tyler.

"Call me Danny. What's your name?" Danny slightly blushed at his question.

"Oh, my name is Tyler. It's nice to meet you" Tyler announced politely.

"Well I would shake your hand and give you a proper greeting but you're in there, and I'm almost falling out of my window." Chuckled Danny.

"Well... Maybe later, I have to get ready for school now!" Tyler quickly said, trying to get out of this conversation.

Danny giggled,"School on a Saturday? What kind of schedule is that?"

Tyler immediately facepalmed,"It's Saturday...?", "Well, fuck. I got up for nothing" weirdly laughed Tyler.

"No worries! You should come over to play some video games now that you're up, I could use the company" Danny slightly smiled, crawling back into his room
