I guess you can say tomorrow is my big day. Lucky me ,let's have a parade why don't we. I am kidding it's not the end of the world . I am just starting a new chapter in my life called, being an adult . College . Yes I said it and I am so excited . Can't you tell . I am more so excited about moving to Atlanta and being my own person . You kmow a lot of kids only go to college for one of three reasons .
1. They actually care about their future or pleases the needs of their parents. Let's be honest if daddy or mommy didn't invest in your future , Financial Aid wouldn't. Must be nice to have that cash a your disposal. For the ones who care there are a few I particularly want to point out your average student who just wants the education to learn and gain their dream job. I am all for it. To the over-achievers , you have got to calm down. We all cross the same stage and let me just be frank stop with over doing things. Life's to short for you to have your head so far up a book , you wouldn't have realized all your friends are married but you.
2. To the ones who follow their "one true love ". You decided Harvard was your dream all your child life . But you met Becky and you and her could never separate being together since sophomore year of high school. She got into a Community college locally. So you gave up Harvard for her. Once your in your late 30's and it's Reunion time and everyone is sharing their boring stories about their successes and how many kids they have . Here you are with the question finally asked " How is it going Mr.Harvard ?" Yes , they did just ask you how was Harvard but how you respond is key. Too bad you can't brag about the success of the Ivey league or the fact that you and Becky Called it quits two months into the first year.
No Harvard.
No Becky.
The idea of going to school with my "one true love " would be ideal but in some cases don't fall for it. That's a trap. If that person really cares about you and your future they would want you to do what you want and go after your goals because even love may be selfish it can also be forgiven.
Enough mushy stuff . Best for last .
3. The Eligible Bachelor and bachelorette. Same to you why are you wasting money to find a man or a woman to support your lifestyle. Sad but true . You have many women and men who just go to score their meal ticket. Watch for the ones with the easy majors.
Thinking while I finish packing my bags. I wonder if Ki would be happy if we were roommates. Ki if you must know is my bestfriend . We have been friends since we were 4. We got into the same college an the sucky part we can't be roommates. I meet mines tomorrow morning. Time for bed i suppose.
I feel a very large object on my body as I lay in bed . I raised my covers to my surprise it's my older brother sitting on me . One thing i wouldn't miss being rushed and getting picked on by. I guess this is his way of saying see you later. I'll miss him. Time for a change and new people.
