Chapter Fourteen

"After I get done with you," Oki sneered, "you won't feel a thing."

Miyuu felt Oki's knee connecting with her chin. Before she knew it, she was flying up into the air. Oki leaped in the air infront of her. The shark demon swung her left leg around and kicked the Aneko in her side. Miyuu once again found herself flying threw the air and then landed in the water with a huge splash.

Dammit, Miyuu cursed as she clutched her side. She kicked her feet and floated to the top. The Aneko had fused chakra into her limbs to climb on top of the watery surface on her hands and knees.

I just need to remove that stupid stone from around her neck and this will be all over...Miyuu thought as her head lowered. Her short, dripping wet hair covered her face as she looked down at the rippling water underneath her, but I need to do this quick.

Miyuu felt the sword she had in her right hand and gripped the hilt tightly before pulling herself up. Oki let out a growl as she watched the Aneko get up.

"Why won't you stay down?" she bellowed, her Mizu Fragment began to glow.

"Because," Miyuu glares at her threw her soaked bangs, "I won't lose to the likes of you."

Oki then chuckled, "We'll see about that."

The Mizu Fragment shined brighter as the water in front of her rose up. Miyuu gripped her sword tighter as she released some of her chakra into it.

"Water Style, Waterspout!" Oki shouted as the water began to swirl around into a large watery tornado towards the neko.

"Dammit!" Miyuu cursed loudly.

She swung her sword around as the chakra that had filled the blade earlier released itself into a large wave of chakra towards the waterspout. The wave of chakra cut threw it. Miyuu began to grin, but then the waterspout reformed back into it's regular form.

"Stupid, stupid cat," Oki laughed, watching the waterspout quickly moving towards the cat.

Miyuu's bright yellow eyes widened as it came straight at her. 

Do I have to do every thing myself? Echoed a familiar voice inside her head. Miyuu's cat ears twitched, What?....

The sword in her right hand began to glow. The glowing light surrounded Miyuu's body, creating a barrier. Similar to barrier that had surrounded underwater when they tried to drown her earlier. The waterspout hit the barrier hard, but then exploded back into water. 

Oki growled loudly, "That barrier again..."

Stupid little brat, can't you do anything right? The voice fumed inside her head. 

Miyuu looked around but couldn't see anyone, Who are you?

Eh? Not even a thank you? You are rude, Miyuu, The voice joked.

Shut up and tell me who you are! Miyuu demanded, clenching her fists. 

You haven't been paying attention to those demons, have you? You are so late, it tsk'd, I am what they called the "power" inside you. 

What? Miyuu's eyes widened, then remembered the voice, Wait a minute...you're from my dream....

Bingo. I am also the one that told you to get your ass up before you drowned, it sighed, this is the third time I had to save you. You are a loser.

And you say I am rude, Miyuu hisses.

Whatever. You better defeat this demon brat because I am not doing it for you.

Who says I'm asking you to do this for me? I can take care of her. 

The voice laughed, Yeah, well, good luck with that.

Wait, just what kind of 'power' are you? Miyuu questioned.

You will just have to figure that yourself, kiddo, the voice began to fade, good luck and don't drown this time.

Wait! Miyuu called after it.

It didn't reply. It was gone. Miyuu ran her hand threw her hair. What the hell was that? The barrier around her began to fade as well. She gazed towards Oki, who was glaring at her.

"You got lucky this time," Oki grumbled, "this time I will kill you!"

Miyuu hissed, "In your dreams!"

The Aneko dashed towards Oki, swinging the sword around and let loose a wave of chakra. The wave hit Oki's torso, slicing her clothing and slashing her chest. The demon howled as she was knocked back a few inches onto her back. Miyuu made her way towards her.

"This is the end, demon," Miyuu says, looking down at her.

Oki looked up at her with widened eyes. Miyuu raised the sword above her head, ready to strike the fragment, but something caught Miyuu's eye. Something was coming up from the water from the side of her. The being's head shot up from the water, its mouth opened, showing it's 3,000 pointy teeth. It was a large, great white shark and it was coming straight towards Miyuu.

"Sister."
