Charlie's POV
Thank God I'd gotten a nice casual dress at H&M this afternoon.
And a cardigan, since it might be cold.
I can't believe the guys invited us, ONLY US, to the beach.
They are such rebels.
I liked it.
I especially liked Wes, even if he was a little bit younger than me.
'He seems to be most loyal and he's said to be the sweetest and most romantic...' I thought dreamily as I walked out of my closet.
I looked at Bella, lying on her bed next to mine.
"Bella, hurry up and change or we'll be late!" I told her with a smile on my face.
"She's not coming," Marisa told me.
"What? WHY?!?" I asked, pushing my face in front of Bella's.
"I'm just really tired and don't feel like it..." Bella groaned.
I frowned sympathetically.
"That just blows. Don't worry, we'll save one boy for you, and you guys can flirt your way into a relationship as soon as you get the chance," I told her comfortingly.
Bella laughed and smiled. "Thanks Charleigh," she said appreciatively.
"You're welcome, hun, but you know you don't get first choice because of this," I told her with a wink.
Bella smiled weakly.
I was going to tell her not to worry, that with her face she could get any of the guys, but Rae interupted me.
"We should get going now!" Rachel called from the bathroom, putting the finishing touches to her make up.
"Alright!" Deb replied to her, and pulled me by my arm. "Come on, Charles. We'll see you later, then, kay Bells?" she said, glancing back at Bella.
Bella nodded, and sent us off with her smile.
"Gosh, I can't believe she's choosing not to come. What is wrong with her?" Marisa said with a giggle as she led us out the door.

Thank God our house was the one closest to the beach.
The salty air tossed my hair around as our bare feet squished the sand under our toes.
"Hey, I hear something!" Deb said, her ears perking.
"Oh yeah... Me too! And hey, isn't that smoke?" Rachel said, excited.
We walked a little further and saw a bonfire, and five guys surrounding it.
Each guy was wearing a different colored crayola hoodie.
"They're so hot..." I breathed.
Wes noticed us first.
Cute, amazing Wes.
"Hey!" he said, motioning for us to come closer.
I immediately walked forward, pulling Rae with me.
"What's the hurry, Charlie?" she said, elbowing me.
"Ow, shut up, Rae!" I said, blushing.
"I think you've fallen for Wes Horton," she whispered, giggling.
I nudged her to shut her up as we approached the brothers.
"Hey boys," Marisa trilled.
Every boy walked over closer with a wassup head nod.
"Hey," Jay said to Rachel. Rae giggled and took his arm as he lead her into the dark to talk.
Marisa batted her eyelashes at Lucas, murmuring "hey..."
Lucas grinned and swept her up into his arms as he brought her over near the waves.
There was Deborah and I standing awkwardly with Wes, Sean, and Rhys. Someone was going to be alone. I didn't want Wes to be taken from me, so I looked at him in the eye.
"Hey," I said softly, looking into his gorgeous eyes.
"Hi." His smile was so cute, he had a two little dimples on both sides of his cheeks.
His hand slid into mine, and he was about to lead me away somewhere more private so we could get to know each other, but I looked back at Deborah.
She smiled, telling me she'd be fine.
I raised my eyebrows, asking "really?"
She smiled and rolled her eyes, and approached Rhys.
"Hi," her voice barely audible.
Rhys grinned and after giving Sean a big hug, left with Deb to who knows where.
"Happy?" I heard Wes' voice, teasing me.
"Yeah," I nodded, and let him take me away.

We were sitting next to each other on a palm tree, and he was asking me about my celebrity life.
"So, what's it like being a huge celebrity?" he asked me.
"Are you crazy? I'm pretty sure you're a lot more popular than me, you of all people should know how being famous is like, right?" I said, laughing.
"Well, I wanted something for us to talk about," he said.
His hand fell on top of mine, sending sparks through my body.
I looked into his eyes, sparkling from the moonlight.
"Charlie, you're beautiful," he said with a smile.
I blushed furiously and glanced down. "Um, thanks?" I said.
"I'm serious, Charlotte," he said, taking my hand in his.
I glimpsed up and saw him looking down at me.
He leaned in slowly, closing his eyes.
I gulped, and leaned in.
Sparks flew.
Wes Logan Horton, you've made me fall for you.
I'm head over heels for you now, dammit.
