"Get me another ale, boy!" Kel hated when the customers got rowdy. Besides that he wasn't even a server at the "Ice Berg Tavern and Inn".
"Why don't you get it yourself. Preferably somewhere else." He responded not missing a beat. He was accustomed to this type of conversation having spent every weekend here at the Inn. But this was going to be a bit different,as he was about to find out.
"What did you say?!" The man responded with a growl to his voice.
"You heard me"
"Punks like you need to learn to show respect and get back to work."
Kel smirked slightly "well that'd be all well and good if A. You deserved and B. I worked here."
"Well either way someone needs to teach you to shut up,and I'm more then *hic* happy to help with that" said the man, standing up and lunging forward his fist swinging wildly, way off target.
This was a good thing, but it didn't matter because Kel was prepared, stepping to the side he grabbed the mans swinging arm and stepped into it pushing in the direction the man had initially swung, making even more momentum and pushing him into a table, into which the man tripped and then slid over the top of,falling on the other side with a "umph!!!".
Unfortunately, a young couple had been sitting there and their food and ale had been on that table.
The young man, a high elf, stood up yelling "what is the meaning of this?! Can't you see that some of us are trying to have a decent meal without you hooligans throwing each other about and ruining our evening?!"
Kel, being a Nord, had never thought much of high elves,or elves of any kind for that matter. But especially high elves. Always seemed they had someone to bother with their pompous and prissy attitudes.
But he tuned out this elf. He was more focused on Quinn O'hare, the tavern owner heading his way with and angry look.
