Elena has just turned 5 years and 1 day but has been a queen from the day she was born, before she could even walk. She is Elena, Queen of Vaelia. Ever since her birth, Elena's life has been threatened by many who opposed the monarchy. Rebels are rising against the sovereignty of nations, including her own family. Because of this threat, she is sent to Tharer to be engaged to its next king, Harry, the eldest son of King Desmond of Tharer and his Queen, Ann de Polleon to protect her crown and her people.
