The Captain of the football team and me....

"Ok!" Mr. T (short for Telum) let his heavy thick blue history book fall on his desk making half of the class jump. "I can see that my lecturing is making you fall asleep." Mr. T moved over to the boy's desk, who had his head on the table facing the class, drooling.
Poor guy. His name was Jake. The sweet-est guy in school. Also very shy, and watching Mr. T walk towards him made my heart sqeeze.
"Mr. Hollkin!" Mr. T slapped his hand hard on Jake's desk, also making him jump up and had a wild confussed face.
"What?! What happened?" Jake asked in a shaky voice.
"You," Mr. T pointed at Jake. "feel asleep. That's what happened!"
"Im sorry Mr. T! I was just really tired." Jake said while rubbing his sleepy eyes and swiped away his drooling saliva off his chin.
Mr. T opened his mouth to say something else, but luckly, the bell rang. Everyone got up and dashed out of the door, including me. Mr.T was a scary teacher, and you never wanted him to get mad. I walked out of the door and turned to my right to find my locker. I had History first hour, so my locker was right next to my class.
I put in my locker combination and opened it. The shy boy from history, Jake, was standing on my left opening his locker.
"Are you okay?" I asked him. Of course I was concerned. Poor Jake never get's in trouble.
"Yeah." He put a book in his locker then turned to look at me. "He just gives me the creeps."
I giggled. "Yeah. He's a scary man. Thank God the bell saved you." I joked around.
"Yeah, that was a close one." He shut his locker. "Thanks for asking."
"Your welcome. Im always here." I gave him a warm smile.
"Thanks." He returned my smile.
Loud stomps coming down from the hallway made me turn to it's direction. It was the football team. All the 'popular' guys HAD to be in the team to be 'cool', but they are just jerks.
They walked towards Jake and me, probably going to their lockers that where right next to mine.
"This season is going to rock man!" A tall, very well tanned, blond haired guy said to the guy who was opening their locker that was literally next to mine.
The guy next to my locker (that was not Jake) was the captain of our school's football team. Dallas Robinson.
Dallas was the most popular guy in school. He was tall, brown-ish hair, baby blue eyes, and a perfect tan. All of the girls were after him, drooling and dreaming about him every minute (exaggeration) but obviously not me. I didn't wear make-up like the other girls. I wore T-shirts and skinny jeans, but if it was summer, I did wear shorts. I had light brown wavey hair, and had an okay skin color, and light brown eyes.
You see, the girls that Dallas goes out with are cheerleaders. Right now he's dating Becca, the head cheerleader. They are made for each other. Both popular, both athletic, and both perfect. So, there was no way that I could think of being with a guy that I had no chance with. None.
