Mikaela woke up to Akane shaking his shoulder.

"Come on sleepyhead, the plane landed already." Akane cooed as to not disturb the other passengers.

"Arigatou." he replied, while grabbing his electronics' bag, and walking off the plane.

After going through baggage claim, they walked outside and hailed a couple taxi cabs that would fit everyone, and left the airport for their destination, Beverly Hills, California.

Arriving at their new house, it was as if a fairy tale came to life. It was a literal utopia compared to their old home. The mansion was huge, with a dark blue roof and white walls that looked crafted out of limestone or marble, with many windows and a balcony over the front door. In the middle of the driveway was a extravagant fountain and trees nearly as tall as the mansion made up the garden of the front yard.

After composing myself, Mikaela closed his mouth and averted his attention to his younger siblings, who coincidentally had the same expressions as he had before: slack jawed, and bug eyed. Mikaela internally laughed at the image permanently etched into his brain, and Krul seemed rather calm about their reactions.

'Well that's to be expected. I mean, she did buy the house... er mansion after all.' Mikaela mused.

"Well, we didn't come all this way just to stare at it. Come on, kids." Krul spoke, walking through the doors. Mikaela was the next to follow her orders.

"I already picked out rooms and had them decorated to your liking, hope you enjoy your new sanctuary kids." Krul said to the kids making her way to what they assumed was her room.

"Feel free to explore!" Krul called over her shoulder. Mikaela's siblings immediately ran up the stairs, no doubt trying to find their rooms.

Mikaela explored every room on the first floor; the living and dining room were extravagant with modern furniture, rather than the old furniture you would find in the 18th century.

'However, the kitchen definitely put those rooms to shame!' he thought

Mikaela just about died and went to heaven when he saw what looked to be his dream kitchen which was a pristine black marble counter top, white cabinets, and stainless steel appliances, the floors throughout the first floor were a cream colored, glossy tile, but the foyer was a beautiful white marble floor with a spiral staircase that connected to the balcony at the top, and a black grand piano underneath the stairs.
