Did I do it?

CHAPTER TWO

Lilys P.O.V.
After packing and sticking everything in the bed of my truck I headed to Elaine's house. I got there with two minutes to spare. I grab my stuff and walk right in because this is one of the only places I belong. Elaine is in the kitchen making something to eat. She looks up at me and then down at my bags. When she sees them a huge grin spreads across her face. "I didn't think you were actually coming."
         "Of course I would. I told you I was coming, right?" I replied, grinning back at her.
"Did you bring everything I told you to?"
"It wasn't a very long list" I said dropping my bags on the floor.
"What did I tell you to bring then" she says then adds "and dont leave anything out Lillian."
"Okay. Geez. You said 'Meet me at my house in half an hour with a suitcase of your cutest clothes and all your makeup. Also pjs and anything else you might need. You are definitely staying at my house.'" I said in my best Elaine voice. 
"Man do you record our conversations?"
"Maybe." I say with a mischievous grin on my face.
"Okay then. Close the door and put your stuff in my room." She says, looking back at the food.
       "What is that anyway? It stinks." I say closing the door. Leaving my bags on the floor.
"I forgot what its called but its a new recipe."
"You should stop trying to cook."
"Like you could do better."
"Actually I think I could."
"Then just move in with me and you can cook."
"We've had this decision.  Not if I have to see Luke's ugly face everyday."
"Why do you not like him?"
"I dont know theres just something off with him." I said sitting on a stool at the bar. Then I add " And he looks like a blob fish."
          That makes her laugh and so then I burst into laughter.
"Who looks like a blob fish?" A voice behind me asks.
I make a gagging face as Elaine says "Nobody babe." Making her chuckel.
"Hello Lily. How are you?" Luke asks.
"You." I say turning around making a stink face.
"Why do you hate me so much?" He asks, tilting his head like a dog.
" I was answering your question on who looks like a blob fish. It was you and I just hate you." I say trying to look as innocent as possible. "Dont you have a party to set up?"
"Yes I do. In fact I was just leaving, right now."
"Yea. You know I was thinking blob fish should go extinct because th-"
"Lily!!" Elaine cuts me off "Bye babe see you later."
"Sadly." I say rolling my eyes when they kiss.
"Its okay. I know your just jealous." Luke says closing the door.
"Am not!!" I yell at the door.
