Fire
When you think of dragons, the fierce fire dragon is probably at the forefront of your thoughts. It is true that these beasts get cranky when they get cold. All you have to do is keep them in a warm place and they become as harmless as the ground beneath their feet! Never mind that their feet are typically found above active volcanoes.
Opposite: Cold
( A/N: Credit to DragonVale for the above content. Now I will give my own description for this dragon below. )
The fire dragon is another more common dragon. It lives only on fire islands, which are covered in lava, volcanoes, etc. The fire dragon can have a bit more of a temper than a plant dragon, but it is still fairly nice. It is a red dragon with typical sharp teeth, sharp claws, and large wings. It also has spines on its head, neck, and tail when it is an adult. ( A/N: There is a picture of this dragon in Multimedia as a baby and in the back, shaded version as an adult. But if you type in 'DragonVale Fire Dragon' into your search engine you can see more pictures of this dragon. ) The fire dragon breathes fire, not surprisingly.
