I was exhausted. I wasn't even exaggerating when I said to Baekhyun that this was the most difficult surgery he ever did. It took us more than 7 hours to fix Chanyeol's body. When we put him to sleep and did the X-Ray examination I almost lost the confidence that we will be able to do it. The werewolf's body and its inhumanly quick recovery was making the whole situation very difficult for us. Thank God Lay was there too, helping us with everything and explaining more things about the body of werewolves.

Chanyeol, being the second Alpha in charge, was even quicker in healing than the rest, so we had to crush his bones more than 3 times. However, more or less we managed to succeed and patch him up. Baekhyun calmed down during the operation, obviously concentrating on his patient, which only made me more proud of him. People often judged him for appearing carefree and reckless, and I'm not saying he isn't as a human, but as a doctor he was a complete opposite. He was very aware of the fact, that there weren't times for jokes or mistakes in hospital.

,, Ok, we are done here. I can see that most of it is already healed up."

Baekhyun said, his voice quiet and cracked, because we shared just a few words during the whole hours long intervention.

He had the last X-Ray pic in his hands, holding it in front of the bright, white light. I took it from his hands to check it too and was blown away again how fast was Chanyeol healing.

,, Yep, great job, Baekhyun. Lay, Jongdae, you too."

I said and nodded with a thankful smile to others, who were now washing their hands and medical utensils in the sink.

,, We should let him rest."

Baekhyun said quietly and looked at Chanyeol, who was now laying on a soft medical bed under the white blanket.

All of us nodded and made our way outside after cleaning the whole room. As we opened the door of the hospital we almost knocked down the bucket full of foamy water. Thankfully Suho, who appeared out of nowhere, caught it with a small smile.

,, Sorry, didn't see you coming. I've decided to clean the door, because all of these bloody hand and paw prints on it. How is Chanyeol?"

He asked nervously, his eyes flicking from me and Baek to Lay, who was just standing there with his gentle smile.

,, I cannot be too sure, but I think he will be okay. I hope he will be."

Baekhyun said slowly and I could see that he was mentally and physically exhausted.

With him not sleeping much, throwing up earlier and after such a long surgery it was more than understandable.

,, Suho? Could you please get us something to eat and tell everybody to meet us in the stone building?"

I asked and grabbed Baek around his shoulders, assuring him that he can rest in a minute.

,, Oh, actually, Luhan made some food a while ago and everybody is waiting for you in there already. I'm done here anyway so let's go!"

Junmyeon grabbed the bucket, throwing the dirty water away, and we moved to the building together.

I was never so thankful for my team as now, when I smelled the food and saw everyone around the table with a steaming cups of coffee and tea, obviously thinking and waiting for us. When we entered the room with the kitchen desk and a dining table almost everyone jumped to their feet. We were assaulted by a million of questions and sounds, which were stopped by Lay and his low, but powerful voice.

,, Food first for these three, something to drink, something to sit on and THEN questions."

The oldest wolf glared at the others, who immediately moved from their spots.
