I stared at the black cushions of the seat surrounding my new date, suddenly getting lost in thought.

you're sitting here in a club, with a girl you got set up with.

"Um, excuse me? I'm sorry if this is awkward for you, it is for me as well." she slightly chuckled.

I looked up to her eyes, brown, but cold. Unlike the warm eyes I'm still longing for. "Let's just start with a few questions, I guess."

Little did I know, that night would make the longing worse.
