Envy ran with Alexis until they made it outside. Alexis was confused, but Envy explained to her, "Go for now. I'll retrieve you when it's your time. You won't be sacrificed. Stay away from the other Homunculi and you'll be fine." Alexis watched as he ran back inside, then she turned to see where she was.
"I'm outside HQ...? Father lurks under HQ...! Roy! Riza!"
She ran to the gate where Major Armstrong was standing guard.
"Major!" she called to the Strong Arm Alchemist, "Where are Colonel Mustang and Lieutenant Hawkeye!?" Armstrong said, saluting the Pyre Alchemist's return, "Lieutenant Hawkeye is inside, but Mustang has already been transferred to the South. They have both been so worried about you." Alexis ran inside, thanking Armstrong.
She ran straight to the Fuhrer's office, where Riza was acting as Bradley's bodyguard.
"Alexis!! Oh, thank God! Alexis, are you hurt!?" Riza hugged Alexis tightly, tears forming in her brown eyes. Alexis hugged her back and said, "I'm fine, Lieutenant, thanks to Edward! Where's Colonel Mustang? I heard he was transferred! Is that true?!" Riza nodded and Fuhrer King Bradley said, "Yes, I'm afraid that it's true.
A few weeks went by without problems. Alexis told everyone that Envy had run off in their conflict after she ran him back out into the open.
Envy retrieves Alexis through her window and takes her back to Father where he says Father can give back what she lost. The catch is that she will be a human chimera herself, with the organs and abilities of a lioness. She will be able to reproduce, but she will have the added bonuses of always landing on her feet, inhuman balancing abilities, and enhanced senses of hearing, sight, smell, touch, and taste.
Roy and Riza wake up to find that she has gone missing.
Alexis comes back through the front door and claims she must have taken to sleepwalking and somehow ended up outside.
