Chapter 1

Lindsey POV

Cutting is the only way i can let all my pain be lifted from my shoulders. No one cares about me. The only person i have is my bestfriend Cory. She has been with me since we were in diapers. As i am collapsing on the floor from all the blood i lost, someone busts in my room. But before i can tell who it was, i pass out.

Cory POV

As i walk back into Lindsey and I's apartment, i can smell something. Something that leaves a repugnant taste in your mouth.I call Lindsey's name but no answer. As im searching the apartment to find that dreadful smell, I step in red blobs. I realise it is blood and tears start to form. I burst the door open to find my bestfriend in a little pool of blood. I call her name while running towards her but nothing. So i call the police. "Hello what's your emergency?" It sounded like a middle age women. "hel..loo my friend is lie..ing on the fl..oor with bl..ood all around her!" i faltered taking a deep breathes. "Address, please ma'am" she quickly replied. " 5050 Sunset Boulevard in the apartment complex building River Ranch apartment 125" i gushed out. "Okay ma'am someone is on their way to help your friend out but i need you to tell me what happened" she said. " Okay there are cuts all over her arms with blood falling." i tried to say before more tears came a crawling. "Okay ma'am someone is on their way to help your friend." she repeated. "Ok thank you" and before she could reply i hung up and ran to Lindsey.

Lindsey POV

I woke up in a strange room and an iv in my arm. I try to take in my surroundings but when i turn i see a familiar face. I squint my eyes until I can tell its Cory. And then all the terrible memories come rushing to my head but i push them aside. "hey" i mumbled. "You're awake!" she exclaimed in the happiest voice. "How long was i out? Where am i?" i questioned. "3 hours and the hospital." She replied. "Oh" was the only thing i could say. "When your all better you have 2 days at the apartment then you have to spend a week in a mental institution." she said trying to get rid of the awkward silence. Again all i could say was "oh".
