FIRST

Dahyun is in rush to go home. She was in the detention before and she is late for her work. She run in the corridor and suddenly, she hit someone. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I didn't notice you Miss Woo." Dahyun apologized after she realized that it was her teacher. Miss Woo just chuckles. "It's okay. Why are you so rush?" She asks while picking up all the papers that scattered. Dahyun helps her to pick all the papers. "I'm actually, uhm...late for my work." Dahyun replies. She wants to pick up the papers in front of her but, someone take it from her. "Here you go Miss Woo. Did you hurt anywhere?" He asks Miss Woo.

Miss Woo shook her head. Dahyun sighed. "What a relieved." Dahyun says. "You better be careful next time!" He says to Dahyun firmly. "It's okay Baekhyun-aa. I'm fine. Are you okay uhm..." Miss Woo search for Dahyun's name tag but, she didn't wears it. "Kim Dahyun. I'm Kim Dahyun from class 9-3" She says. "Uhm." Miss Woo nods. "I'm just fine." Dahyun continues. "I'll be going first. Be careful next time." Miss Woo says and goes inside the teacher's room. Dahyun looks at the boy from before and their eyes locked. 

"Who are you?" Dahyun asks. But, he just ignores her and left. "What!!?" Dahyun says and she immediately running again after realizing that she was late. She will get shouted by her boss again today. But, that boy really annoyed her and she can't stop thinking about him. "Who is he? Why did he so angry when I hit Miss Woo. Is he..." Suddenly she shocked by herself and she almost tripped but she got her balance again. "Is he has a crush on the teacher? Miss Woo Hyerim. Well, Miss Woo is the goddess in the school. She's so beautiful and cute and kind. Why not? But, that boy is really unsuitable for her." She says.

"Kim Dahyun!!! You're late again today!! I know I should've kick you out yesterday." The boss shouted at her. She only can keep silent and getting ready to be fired. "She was in the detention. Someone steal her homework and she's the one who get the punishment." Her senior, Kai explains. "Oh, Kai. I didn't notice you have come in. Is that really happened?" The boss looks at Dahyun. Dahyun gulped. She doesn't want to lie, but for the sake of her life, she have to. She nodded quickly. Kai smiles and ruffles Dahyun's hair. "Okay then, go to your work." The boss says. Dahyun smiles and mouth a thanks to her boss and bowed before doing her works.

She works at a cafe near to her house. She needs money to pay the rent and her school fee. She's just 16 years old girl, but life goes hard on her. Her mother left the house and his dad is jobless person. She is the only kid in the family. All the responsibility was on her. She has to do everything. Everyday, her dad will punch her and kick her if she didn't bring food or money home. She tries to run away from home but, her dad was a little too fast from her. She got caught and get hit again. So, she has no way other than stay.

She is wiping the plate and arranging all of them inside the cupboard. The cafe is closed already, she came late, so she has to going home late. Kai comes near her and grabbed another towel to helps Dahyun wipes the plate. "Oh. Senior Kai. Why are you still here?" She asks in shocked. "It's dangerous to left a girl like you alone. It's already night." He says. Dahyun smiles. "Uhm, about earlier, thank you so much for helping me. I promise I won't come late again." She says. Kai smiles. "You is always like this, you always late for school and work." Kai says. DAhyun blushed. "Yeah, I know. I always stuck with a lot of problem." Dahyun says.

"From now on, don't ever come late again. If you're still late, I won't help you anymore." Kai says. Dahyun nods. "I promise." She says. They smiles to each other. Kai is Dahyun senior at school and they also work at the same place. For some reasons, Dahyun has a crush on him. She likes him. But, she's afraid to tell it to him and she knows that Kai loves someone in their school, but she doesn't know who. 

Dahyun's POV

Why are you so kind to me? Why are you so good to me? Please stop it. Treat me the way you treat your friends. If you always being good to me, I might fall for you deeper and deeper.

"Kim Dahyun! Are you still there?" Kai asks. "Ah~ Yes. What did you say?" Dahyun asks back. "Are you okay? What are you thinking about?" Kai asks. Dahyun shook her head. "School is tiring and I have to work even though I have a lot of homeworks to do." Dahyun gives an excuse. Truthfully, she was thinking about Kai. "Right, life is so hard for you but don't worry, life is fair enough. You will be seeing only a beautiful things in the future." Kai says. Dahyun smiles. "I wish." She says. Kai smiles at her back. To Kai, Dahyun is like his sister. That's why he treat her differently. Some of his friends thought he likes Dahyun. Even if he told them 1000 times that she just like his sister, they wont listen to him. Even at school, everyone thought the same.

The school has finished and Dahyun is the last one to come out. While she was packing her things, suddenly she heard a sound of someone running at the corridor. "Miss Woo!" She freezes when hearing the voice. The voice that she knows so well. 'Senior Kai's voice.' She says to herself. She goes outside after finished packing her things. She sees Senior Kai and Miss Woo talking to each other and they look so happy. She knows it's only between a student and teacher but, she doesn't know why she feel so hurt. Her heart ache. She looks down and slowly turning back to go home. Suddenly, she hit something hard.

She looks up. "It's you. I'm sorry, I didn't notice you were here." She says and wanted to left but, Baekhyun grabs her hands. "Are you sad?" He asks. Dahyun only looks down and not giving any answers. "Follow me." He says and Dahyun only follows him. They are at the rooftop. "I'm sad too." He says. "Who are you? You like Miss Woo right?" Dahyun says weakly. He nods. "I'm Baekhyun. Miss Woo teach science in my class and she is Senior Kai's homeroom teacher." He says. "What class are you from?" Dahyun asks. "9-1" Baekhyun replies shortly. "You're pretty clever." Dahyun says. "Do you think this basic questions can remove the sadness?" Baekhyun almost shouts at Dahyun.

"It don't remove, it replace. But, it didn't work." Dahyun says. She is looking down all the times. Baekhyun sighed. "I hope something can replace mine too." He says. Dahyun shook her head. She walks to the end of rooftop. She looks down and sees Senior Kai with Miss Woo. "What are they talking about? Why are they so happy? What is so fun?" Dahyun wonders by herself. "I'm asking the same question too. But, this is the last year for Senior Kai. Miss Woo has been taking care of the class since the Senior Kai's batch grade 1. Of course they were so close." Baekhyun says. "You aren't helping." Dahyun says. "I know. That's why I'm hurt too. Because I can't accept the reality." Baekhyun says.

"I'm going first, I don't want to be late for my work again." She says. "Want me to drop you?" Baekhyun asks but Dahyun just going.

Dahyun's POV

Is Senior Kai loves Miss Woo? Senior Kai and Miss Woo has been together since grade 1. Senior Kai is the one she always trust. Senior Kai is the class monitor and he is close to Miss Woo. Is he in loves with her? Are they already has that kind of relationship? But, why did Senior Kai so good to me? Yeah right. As his sister. I forgot. I'm just his sister.
